The survivors (A warrior cats fanatic)

Chapter 9

Flamespirit's P.O.V.

I  walk out of Ivystar's den with Shadepaw. "Go get some fresh-kill." She nods her head, and pads over to the pile. I hear a twig snap right outside of camp. I turn around to see, Ravenhope leading a group of cats into camp. 

"So, you decided to join." I purr.

"No, and yes. Sunfall, Alderfoot, Russetcloud, and Hawkpaw attacked us. They turned into cat-eaters." Ravenhope gasps.

"What is that?" Ivystar screeches as the cat-eaters arrive.

"Run!" Willowpaw orders. She runs out with Ravenhope, and the others behind her. I grab Shadepaw, and we follow them. I look behind us, to see Ivystar, Hollyfeather, Lionstorm, Tigerblaze, Dovepool, and Leaffern chasing our tails. I search them to see Squirrelkit, Crowkit, Turtlekit, and Mist kit in there jaws. 

We follow the survivors of DawnClan to a group of trees. "Let's hope they can't climb." Ivystar growls as she scrambles up the nearest tree. I throw myself up a tall oak, and find Ravenhope, Nightwish, Willowpaw, Echokit, and Leopardkit already up there. 

I climb up with Shadepaw, Dovepool, and Squirrelkit. We watch in silence as the infected cats turn the ones who weren't as lucky as us. I look to the other trees, and can't find Windtail, Crowkit, Sanddapple, Dustfur, Darkpelt, Featherleap, Riverflight, Brakenpaw, Speckledeye, or Blackspots.

I dip my head to respect the fallen. "If you will allow me, I can give Brakenpaw, and Crowkit there warrior names." Ivystar suggests. 

I spot Lightfrost nod her head in sorrow. "From this day forward, Brakenpaw is known as Brakenfang. Crowkit, is now known as Crowbreeze. May we honor our fallen companions, Brakenfang, Crowbreeze, Riverflight, Dustfur, Darkpelt, Blackspots, Speckledeye, Windtail, and Sanddapple." 

I hear Willowpaw sobbing, as well as Dovepool, Lightfrost, Bramblepaw, Lionstorm, Hollyfeather, Nightwish, Ravenhope, Wildherb, Ivystar, and Stormheart.
