Anthony-

Mastering the arts of salsa and tango took forever for me, but now we are taking a break. I had made my guests dinner, since I have been left to fend for myself in this house. I made a classic Mexican Dinner in my house. It consists of nachos with crab and shrimp, and let's just say it's a party pleaser. The smell of hispanic spices filled my house to the hungry noses of my guests. It pays off to cook for yourself. Even if it is just nachos and shell fish.

"Dinner guys!" I called, and sure enough Sage was right at the table.

Christine was not present and I had wondered where she was. This is her favorite meal and normally when we hung out and I made this she, like Sage would be nearly bouncing out of her seat for so much as a "taste test".

"Christine! Are you hungry?" I asked raising my voice in case she was upstairs.

"I'll be down in a second. I need to brush my hair a little bit more." Christine yelled back upstairs.

"Hurry or your nachos will get cold." I responded back.

Ah girls and their maintenance... I will never be able to understand such a meticulous endeavor such as that. I mean Sage even got me to dress up in my prom outfit for dinner tonight, I mean this is the waltz outfit also(because my initial outfit was tattered a bit), I wonder what this has to do with eating nachos as a couple with a surprise friend guest. I thought to myself as I heard Christine walk down the stairs.

I was plating the food when I saw her my jaw nearly fell off. In walked Christine decked out in her prom dress. The dove white mix between ball gown, and typical prom dress emerged from my kitchen entrance. This dress had a cyan swirl of blu that ever so slightly unveils the joy of the holidays, but brings out every feature of her natural beauty.

"Sage is he okay?" Christine asked.

"I don't know mate. He seems to be alright, I think he can't handle our combined style prowess." Sage replied.

"Or maybe he thinks I look stunning in the dress." Christine stated.

"You look lovely Christine." I complimented her as I pour out some extra nachos in a big bowl in case either one of us run out of my homemade tortilla chips while eating the spicy shrimp and crab paired with fresh shredded pepper jack cheese.

"Thanks honey, I am glad you like it. Now is all that crab and shrimp for me?" She asked.

"No Christine, this is for all us. and poor Sage over here needs these extra chips it seems. His mouth seems to be on fire." I replied.

"Holy hell mate what did you do to this fish? It's delicious but so hot!!" Sage asked.

"Well I added cayenne pepper to my homemade jalapeño salsa which you seem to have drenched your nachos in. The crab and shrimp were cooked in garlic, cayenne powder, chili powder, butter, salt, and pepper." I explained.

"Oy do you have sour cream to extinguish the flame in my mouth?" He asked.

"The dipping sauce on your left is sour cream." I replied.

"Oh sweet relief!" he exclaimed pouring the sour cream in his mouth.

"Um... okay then since it seems your finished with your food you may go and relax in the living room. Watch Dr. Who or something while we finish our meal." I said nervously.

"And then it is a slower dance lesson!" Christine exclaimed!

"Then dessert, to make the night go faster." I stated.

"Dessert? How can you even think of dessert after such a meal? I mean first your appatiza was fish tacos with a mango salsa, your main course of spicy crab and shrimp nachos, and now you are giving us dessert. God almighty man this is living if I weren't so full!" Sage complimented to my surprise as he left the table and watched a re-run of Dr.Who.

"So where were we?" I asked Christine.

"A romantic dinner for two." She replied in her lovely alto voice.

"Our food is still piping hot even though Sage made a speech of my coastal Mexican cooking." I said.

"It's a surprise the food's still warm, after the feedback coming from such a chatterbox friend of mine." she laughed.

"Well at least today is something special" I said. "I get to spend an entire six hours with the person I love, I couldn't be any happier." I continued.

As we finished our food and exchanged a few kisses in between bites of nacho and sips of water, we finally were going to begin the final part of dance training... the waltz.
