Chapter 16

Dinah's POV

We marched our way to war line.. Me in the front along side with Albert. The plan is we are marching, the 300 of us . While the others are hiding to enclose and trap Alejandro's army.

"What is this? Albert?" Alejandro asked.

"At your service, "my king"" Albert mocked.

"I've trusted you..." Alejandro said, his voice sounded betrayed. Though I know he knows that he will be facing him. I have to say that Alejandro is a good actor.

"That was the plan." Albert smirked.

"Who do you think you are? How dare you mock me with your Army of what? a hundred?" Alejandro said.

Albert laughed bitterly and glared at Alejandro. "No! How dare you under estimate me?" he said "How dare you think so little of me?"

"Perhaps because you are nothing compared to what is already been built. Albert, I am sorry to say but this civilization that you hate is what built others to be united."

"United? If it is so united how is it that there are people on my side? Alejandro, you are blinded because you have the power!" Albert yelled. he then signalled one of our comrades to shoot the arrow for others to know.

Archers then encircled Alejandro's army. Alejandro laughed. "Oh, Albert. Smart as always." He complimented.

Albert smirked at the compliment thinking he might have won. "I told you Margaux. We will win... Just stay and all you want, I will give it to you." He said.

Alejandro then activated a button to signal Camila, Normai, Ally, and Lauren to lead the Army. Soon enough I hear a low rumbling of horses coming from the four directions that we planned. "Wait what?" Albert asked as he looked around frantically. Camila's Army moved forward with their weapons drawn, prepared to attack. Ally's Army then moved forward with Normani's Army. Lauren's Army did not show up yet.

"Is that all you got, huh Alejandro?" Albert tried to say with confidence.

"No, He still got me." Lauren yelled for Albert to hear.

"Lauren? What- what are you doing." Albert said, his Army is still on their stance, before he can talk about Lauren betraying him I wrapped my arm around Albert and positioned the tip of my sword. "Margaux?" He asked, now he did not try to hide the hurt in his voice. I felt bad and whispered.

"Go along with it. Some of us needs to be out of prison." I said. I then looked around to find the people on my side pointing their weapons at Albert's Army.

"You are smart, Margaux." he whispered.

"How dare you! Margaux!" He yelled but tried not to move. "After all those things we've done together? You were my right hand! You promised to be standing by my side."

"I did promise to stand beside you, but I never promised to stay." I said. "Now drop your weapon and command your army to drop theirs."

He dropped his weapon and raised both of his hand, a sign of surrendering. "I volunteer to take the prisoners." i said. They brought me the carriage that will carry the prisoners. Camila offered to ride with me.

"Margaux. If you please, may I ride with you?" Camila asked, flattering her lashes.

"Thank you, but I am sorry princess. I must do this alone with one of my comrades. The kingdom might want to celebrate with you instead." I said and gave her a knowing look.

Camila looked disappionted but smiled, "Of course, I'll see you in the gathering."

I nod my head and climbed on the driver's seat of the carriage. "Hiya!" I said and whipped the horses for them to run."
