sometimes my heart feels as though it is weighed down with concrete,
but with you it's as light as a feather.
a load is lifted when I'm with you, Sweet.
i can feel the butterflies brush past my wispy heart,
but the bumblebees are sure to sting when we are separated.
there's only so much pain i can bear when we are apart.
often at times you've kept me from hitting the ground.
i've always wanted someone to hold me when Despair's claws come knocking;
i smile at the thought that it's finally something i have found.
therefore, on those nights when i find my hands shielding my pillow from the overflowing pool in my eyes,
i'll be sure to grasp the blue pullover and take a deep breath,
because i know my happiness will soon be on the rise.
i promise to steady your hands when they shake from nerves;
i know how troublesome it feels when the body shudders,
so i also promise to heal your heart when it breaks because that's what someone like you deserves.
