Emily sat in her chemistry class, but she wasn't all there.
Sleep didn't come to her at all and she was exhausted. The girl enjoyed her time to rest and if she didn't get it, the days would be really hard to deal with.
No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't get the image she saw the previous night, out of her head.
People would normally just have let it go, but Emily was different. Things that she experienced were always locked in somewhere in her mind.
So there she was; mindlessly doing her chemistry while she kept seeing the uneventful scene replaying in her head.
"Woah! Emily what are you doing!?" Flo whisper shouted and yanked the vile of fluids out of the werewolf's hand.
Emily was snapped back to reality and didn't have the faintest idea of what was going on or what she did wrong. "Hu?" She was met by two worried expressions from Flo and Amy.
"You ok there Fluffy?"
"Yeah totally fine," the girl tried to wave it of.
Her friends however were not convinced. "Are you sure?" Emily gave the angel a questioning look. "Because you nearly poured manticore venom into our cup of water. You know, that were supposed to use for a DRINKING potion."
When Amy finished, Emily had two main thoughts in her mind.
Had she really been so focused on last night that she nearly made a poison. And the thought of erasing her memory a bit with a potion.
"Sorry, just have some things on my mind. I'll try to he more focused." The brunette forced a smile towards her friends. The two didn't buy it but decided not push any further as Emily clearly didn't want to talk about it.
The rest of the day Emily couldn't focus on anything.
The uncomfortable things she witnessed just wouldn't leave her thoughts. To top it all off, she also began thinking to what Beca said about the potion.
She had been scolded by Beca before, but never in a tone like what Beca had used last night.
At the moment she was on her way to her last class when she bumped into Chloe in the hallway.
"Hi Em," the bubbly redhead was full of life and tried her best not to remind the younger girl of the previous night. Chloe herself would've liked to forget as she was a little embarrassed.
"Hey." Emily didn't make eye contact with the vampire as she still felt a bit uncomfortable.
Chloe noticed and her smile transformed into a frown. That however didn't stop her from trying to cheer the girl up. "So how's it going?" She hoped that she could at least fish some more conversation out of the brunette.
"Good."
The girl was obviously feeling awkward around the ginger and it broke Chloe's heart.
But she had a responsibility which Emily was now a part of. "Great," Chloe tried to sound as positive as she could with a small smile. "Oh remember we have Beast Ball training after school today."
If Emily had a bad day; it had just gotten worse.
Instead of going home and hiding away from Beca and Chloe in her room. Now she had to spend an afternoon with Chloe while the redhead had to constantly talk to her because she was training Emily.
"Yeah. I'll be there," Emily nodded keeping her eyes fixed down on her books.
To Chloe, it felt like Emily was too afraid to even look at her. She hated that. Emily was the only one who was always as excited and happy about all the small things like she was.
