"What happened?" Dahyun asked as she watched Momo walk to the bus station.
The brunette sighed, checking the time on her phone. The bus seemed to still be far away and she was definitely not in the mood to be dealing with people not being on time. She sat down on the bench near the stop, throwing her shoes behind her back and grabbing her keys with her hand while playing around with them.
"Momo?" Dahyun knew Momo and specifically to not talk to her when annoyed. Although, if Dahyun was right, Momo wasn't exactly annoyed.
"Do you need anything?" she said slowly, examining the bleeding wound on her heel caused from her shoe.
The younger shook her head as she joined Momo on the bench, hand immediately landing on the latter's shoulder. She squeezed it reassuringly before studying Momo's posture.
"What did she say?" she asked, glancing at the girl's right leg that bobbed up and down, fingers aggressively fidgeting with her keys and brows furrowed.
Momo was definitely not annoyed, Dahyun concluded. There was a bit of annoyance, of course, but the emotion trapped inside of her was something more than that. And the younger was no doctor, yet she knew Momo like the back of her hand.
"You're clearly upset and if you don't talk about it, it's going to blow up in your face." Dahyun spoke as she tucked a few strands of the girl's hair behind her ear so she could take a more clear look of her face under the darkness.
"Talk about what?" Momo laughed, turning around to face Dahyun "Another ton of lies Mina used as an excuse for hurting me?"
Momo's voice had transformed, changed into a sharp and fierce growl. Her laugh was like a blade cutting through paper, easily tearing it apart as it did with the least of Dahyun's confidence. The older was scary, her eyes were dark as her lips curved into a smirk.
"W-What did you, uh, talk about?" Dahyun swallowed the lump in her throat, gulping loudly.
"Not much, though I give her credit for being so creative with her lies," the brunette replied as she raised her brow and cocked her head to the side "She literally had the nerve to make up family stories, bring my mother up. Do you believe that?"
Dahyun was facing someone she had never met before, thinking for a second that a spirit had taken over Momo's body and talked for her. That the spirit was the reason behind her acting so weird, like a mad woman.
"She went out of her way to come up with the idea of us being sisters," her eyes widened "We aren't in a fucking movie, Dahyun-ah! How the actual shit can she come up with something like that? Knowing that my mother went through hell to raise me, send me to college."
Regardless, the younger knew spirits don't exist and hadn't taken over Momo's body. She knew the older was mad and the only thing keeping her together right now was her anger. The only thing taking over her, being her own feelings. And maybe, sometimes, feelings makes us lose ourselves, the younger thought.
"You're sisters?"
"No!" Momo almost screamed, groaning in frustration "She's just finding another way to fucking hurt me, that's all."
"Are you sure?" the words coming out from Dahyun's mouth were dangerous. They could either make Momo explode or make her re-think Mina's truth.
"I swear all of you want to piss me off, don't you?"
Here come the explosives.
"Are you serious? You're on her side! She keeps lying to me--" Dahyun zoned out, watching Momo's lips move but unable to hear any of the words she spat. Angry Momo was a sight to never be forgotten, a side of herself a few saw and probably didn't want to again.
