Mina sat on her bed while Chaeyoung paced up and down on the girl's big room, head hung low as her blonde locks hid the big smile on her face.

"I'm sorry," the girl sitting on the bed said "I shouldn't have done that."

The pair was at Mina's apartment outside of campus. They had decided to hang out together before Chaeyoung had to meet the others, but one thing let to another and the girls were laying on the bed as a Marvel movie Mina liked played in her huge TV screen on her bedroom.

Mina was rich, very rich. She didn't like to show it though because she would always be criticized about it. There were already people inside the school who spoke poorly of her because of her family, because of her father, and the girl didn't want to give them another reason to hate her.

The girl didn't like her father, she couldn't stand being around him. Because apart from a cheater,--something Mina's mother didn't know about--he wasn't supportive and understanding of his daughter, ever. He was always strict, scary, and in Mina's opinion the worst father. And the fact that a lot of people liked him and respected him angered her. How could someone respect him when he hasn't ever respected his family, his own daughter.

"It's okay," Chaeyoung mumbled and sat back on the edge if the bed "I was just surprised."

Everything happened really fast for the two girls and as they were silently munching on some popcorn while watching the movie Mina chose, they got distracted.

It started when Chaeyoung accidentally took a hold of Mina's hand instead of the remote to increase the volume. It was kind of awkward, but Mina didn't mind. She later was the one to spill popcorn over the younger, that concluded in her helping Chaeyoung to clean up by eating the popcorn fallen on her shirt. In no time, the older's lips were a breath away from Chaeyoung and without much thinking Mina leaned it.

"You know what?" Mina suddenly spoke after a while "I'm actually not sorry, I've been meaning to do this for so long because, Chae, I--"

Mina's phone rang loudly, making her groan and angrily sit up from the bed as reached to her nightstand. She intensely looked at the phone number displayed on her screen, it wasn't saved yet it reminded of something.

"Hello?" she picked up, finding it hard to listen to the mumbling on the other end line.

Meanwhile, Chaeyoung motioned for the girl to join her back on the bed and put the call on speaker as soon as the person started talking.

"You actually a-answered." the voice laughed, barely being able to talk.

"Who is this?" Mina asked while joining Chaeyoung on the bed, their shoulders touching while their backs rested on the headboard.

"O-Of course you wouldn't recognize me," the person on the other line said "It's been so long since you t-talked to me."

The shaking and high pitch of the voice quickly gave the person away. Mina knew them too good, she knew how their voice would change when drunk.

"Momo, you're drunk." Mina sighed, feeling Chaeyoung fidgeting in her seat "How did you get my number?"

The other end of the line got quite, only Momo's heavy breathing could be heard. Chaeyoung glanced at Mina, worry written all over her face.

"I guess you deleted my number back t-then," she breathed out, slurring on her words and coughing a little "But I didn't. Of course I didn't." Momo laughed.

"Why did you exactly call?" Mina asked as her hand rested on top of Chaeyoung's "It's late."

"Or am I j-just cutting your guys' make out session short?" the girl asked "I guess you always have something better to do."

"I don't understand what you're implying, Momo." Mina said kind of offended. Momo's tone was sarcastic and whatever hints she was throwing about their relationship Mina wouldn't tolerate, especially in front of Chaeyoung.

"You aaaaalways have something better to do," Momo hiccuped "You never had time for someone like me? A girl from a village."

"I--What?"

"Was it your mother that didn't like me, or your father?" the girl asked again "I think professor Ahn likes me though, it was probably your mother who didn't want her daughter messing around with peasants."

Mina's face fell at the comment while Chaeyoung gasped, making Momo laugh loudly. Though it wasn't her usual laugh, the cute one Mina had grown familiar with. It was more like a laugh of a maniac, it held no emotion to it whatsoever. It was just there, echoing loudly in whatever room she was in.

"Oh, my bad," Momo spoke "You still don't tell people your faer is our professor."

"I don't," Mina replied, carefully bringing Chaeyoung closer "It doesn't matter. I let people be fooled by his respectful image, I guess they don't need to know how much of a piece of shit he is."

"Language, Minari!" Momo laughed "I've been such a bad influence to you, don't do the same to Chaeyoung. And most importantly don't keep her hanging, hurt her, make her hate herself, change her for the worse." she drunkenly chuckled, hiccuping soon after.

Mina was at a loss of words, what was she supposed to tell Momo? She was drunk and surely not ready for the truth, the truth none other than her and her father knew. So instead, she let her comments on how much she was hurt slide and motioned Chaeyoung to pick her phone up up from the bed.

"Where are you, Momo?" Mina asked, softly whispering in Chaeyoung's ear to contact Dahyun. The older was aware of how close they were.

"Why do you care?" the girl retorted "You never did any-fucking-way."

"You can say whatever; say that I hurt you, that I destroyed you, but you can never say that," Mina paused, hands trembling on top of Chaeyoung's, "That I don't care. Because truth is, I always did and still do, so fucking much! So if you could please tell where you are, I would totally appreciate it."

"You know what, Mina?" Momo spoke more angry this time "I won't tell you shit, because I don't fucking believe you. How could I do that, tell me? After you just left me after I confessed my love to you? After you broke me to pieces and watched me harm myself without at least explaining why!"

She had a point, Mina was aware of it. Though how could she explain when she herself, felt so lost when figuring out the truth. In some way, she didn't want to make Momo feel that lost.

"Momo?" a voice sounded from the other end of the line, causing Chaeyoung to jerk up and press a kiss on Mina's neck, mumbling something against her skin.

"Dahyun?" the older asked before the line got cut.
