For a good moment that's what Yerin thought about.

Doctor Hwang being lifeless and bathing on her own blood.

There was actually too much blood flowing out from the doctor with that shot alone, that it look like she garnered three gun wounds up to a few couple of it.

"Yerin-ah!" shouted Taehyung from the other side upon hearing the earsplitting shot of a metal grating on another metal. There was blood on his fist and a few scratches on his elbow, but no matter how much strength he extract on thumping out the door, it won't just unbolt on his will.

After Jae saw their reflex on the situation, he tugged his lips into a progression of lunatic, impeccable laughs, "See?! That's how you do it you idiots!"

A colleague died right in front of her, but what did she do? Just watch Doctor Hwang save herself from that one psycho of a patient? When she knows damn well that it wasn't feasible of doing given the current situation.

Albeit, Yerin still didn't do anything.

She didn't.

What happened to the promise she made to herself? The promise that she will save her no matter what.

Eunbi was always saving her every single time, even when she can totally defend herself alone. But now? Eunbi was helpless on the grounds yet she didn't even made an effort to stand for her.

The other doctor greeted her teeth, and now was sure to fire the gun shamelessly at him. She wanted to ignite the bullet directly at his mouth and make his irritating laughs gone, "How dare you--?!"

"How dare me?" his cackling venture eventually stumbled to a stop, hideous eyes stirring at her direction, "Oh you should be asking that to yourself young lady. How dare you interrupt me on my plans?!" he growled. The last sentence startled Yerin, for as his voice wasn't just dreadful, but it was also holding a massive mound of ardent feeling.

She's soon to snap frightfully but then, she remembered what Taehyung said.

'Taking revenge, joining his family in the afterlife.'

Maybe it was too sadistic for Yerin to think that there wasn't, even the tiniest sort of hatred dwelling on Jae's heart. Of course there is.

Taking vengeance isn't really evil.

Making someone pay for their revolting acts isn't really evil.

But it's already a different thing if they try to seek it in a form which will earn more horrid outcome.

"I know what you've been into Mister Kim," for moment, Yerin absently lowered down her guards, "But do you think it's an enough reason for you to do this huh?! What happened to your family is all an unfortunate accident , no one wanted that to happe-"

"Shut up!" he flooded Yerin with vehement look, body pulsating with sea of anger, "Accident you say?! You think what happened to... to my f-family was all an accident?! That fucking doctor lying there and everyone in this hospital are the ones behind all that! And you know what? It includes you lady." merely pronouncing the word family was enough to scrape ligaments of his throat into a den of vivid torture.

"What are you talking about? Don't drag innocent people here Mister Kim!"

"I said shut up!" he now veered off his gun point at Yerin's direction, the firmness on his hold was gone and was now replaced by flagrant shivering, "If there are any innocent people here, it's them! it's my family!"

The demand to shut him off with a flaming bullet died down. With the look he had thrown at her, Yerin had somewhat fathomed that, for the second time he will not pull the trigger off. Something on his eyes was telling her that; this isn't what he wants, this isn't what it should be.
