Third Person's POV
Eunbi slammed the door open, Yuna though anxiously startled, have successfully turned off her phone leaving the person on the other line hanging as if for Eunbi not to notice she was just actually having a call with someone obscure.
"What the hell?! Why are you suddenly just barging in like that?!" she exclaimed, still trying hard to secretly delete the phone log, "Geez! You almost gave me a heart attack!"
"What's with your phone huh?"
"I-it's.. nothing." Yuna defended throwing the piece of device somewhere, a little bit too obnoxiously. Her eyes bounced in as she caught the latter's hand holding the bouquet, a somewhat great way to divert her attention away from her phone, "Anyways what abou-- ohh.."
The surgeon didn't let her friend run on and just tossed the damn thing on her table. Staring her with blazing eyes, Eunbi hissed, "Fucking look at that."
The bouquet landed with a gentle thump, Yuna held it up carefully and quirked a brow as why Eunbi was absolutely simmering in lividity. "Flowers? Someone gave this to you? And can you please calm down? I can literally see flames coming out from your back."
Obviously, Choi Yuna.
Eunbi just rolled her eyes and scorned, "No Yuna."
The other girl uttered no words and just threw Eunbi a blatant querying look.
"I shall die tomorrow." Eunbi whispered, again, trying to look composed.
Yuna's breaths hitched up just right on her chest, seeing how Eunbi, with terror in her eyes said every single words was almost like depicting death.
Sure, the words fell out of Eunbi's mouth as smooth as that, just like the dubious elegant flow of water in a peaceful river, waiting to flood and drown an entire village.
Little did Yuna know, the sickening contrast of what actually was.
With all her might, Eunbi had to push herself to her limits just to be able to whisper out that single sentence. Just thinking about it was enough to make her puke in horrid disgust. Those words literally and painfully scratched her throat as they were going out verbally, she almost considered not speaking it out.
But that's exactly the problem, isn't?
Either Eunbi continues to keep all of her overwhelming thoughts to herself or blurt it out loud, the pain will ricochet to her heart just the same. So what now?
At some corner of Yuna's mind, she thought that Eunbi was referring to herself when she said that, but she had to think twice as she noticed how, Eunbi's once scary demeanor turned into an extremely desolated one in just literally a matter of a second.
She cleared her throat and hesitantly asked, "Pardon?"
"Those are cistus flowers. Beautiful and refined, customary enough to seduce oneself on thinking that it casts solace and serenity, but behold.." Eunbi began, depressingly slumping herself in a vacant couch, "Because it's totally the opposite of what everyone thinks it is."
