McKenzie's POV

I walk up to the guy who closed the door. Luckily I didn't recognize him. Phew,  I didn't want to already ruin a friendship.  I say to him, "Hi, my name is McKenzie. Ian invited me to stay here." The guy perked up, "Good. I was hoping that you weren't going to destroy our village. My name's Jason or MinecraftUniverse." I smiled, "Nice to meet you Jason." We shook hands. I felt really awkward. I looked away, and at the well. Jason said, "Well see you around?" I looked him in the eye and said, "Yeah, see you." Jason quickly walked away. I ran to a tree, already planning ideas for my house.

Ian's POV

I can't believe Derp had the idea to talk to me while there was others there. Even when McKenzie was there. I hadn't heard her leave. Mitch asked, "What did he say?" Mitch was the only one who knew about Derp. No one else knew. They just thought there was a griefer going around. I responded, "He threatend to kill McKenzie." Mitch still had fear on his face. "Mitch, how will we protect her? You know I can't move when he's in our village. You know I feel every pain he has when he's here." Mitch nodded. I looked at my feet. Then out the window. I saw McKenzie gathering wood, a look of determination on her face. I stared as she got the whole tree then she rushed to a spot where no one had a house. She started to build, but then thought better of it. Mitch called, "Ian!" I snapped out of my staring, "What?" I looked over. Sky was standing there. He demanded, "Who' s the new girl?" I responded calmly with, "McKenzie. Her village was deystroyed." Sky didn't look happy but he said, "Fine she can stay." He marched out the door. I looked at Mitch. He simply said, "Squids." I groaned and walked out the door to the well. 

After I killed all the squids in our village, I heard, "She has powers Ssundee! I need to kill her!" I asked him, "What powers?" I got no response. I looked over to the spot where McKenzie was building her house. My jaw dropped. It was amazing. McKenzie was sitting on the ground panting. I told her, "This house is amazing!" She jumped and said, "You scared me! And thank you." She blushed. I started to blush to. McKenzie started to say, "Listen Ian.." I interrupted her, "We will protect you with our lives, you know that right." McKenzie's brown eyes stared at me, wonder in them. She looked away as if the thought worried her. McKenzie asked, "Who is after me?" She turned her head to look at me. Tears were in her eyes, almost as if they were trying to burst from her eyes. I turned my head quickly, "I don't know." I hoped she hadn't heard the fakeness in my voice but if she did, she didn't care. She attacked be with a hug. "Thank you." She mumbled. I smiled turning around to give her a proper hug. We watched the sun go down, together

McKenzie's POV

Ian is so cute. I tried to tell him that I had powers but he wouldn't let me. Oh well. As we watched the sun go down, mobs started to spawn. As we departed, Ian said, "See you tomorrow." I nodded. I went to the house I built. I went to bed but I couldn't fall asleep. I couldn't shake the fakeness of Ian's voice when he said, "I don't know." I had a really strong feeling that he did know and that the figure was dangerous. I finally fell asleep. My dreams though were not good. In fact, they were memories I would rather forget.

Ian's POV

I heard McKenzie screaming. I ran to her house as fast as I could. She was asleep, but her face was petrified. She kept screaming. I splashed water at her. She sat straight up, and I defended myself, but there was no punch. McKenzie was panting. She kept whimpering, and I held her close saying until she fell asleep, "It's ok. You're ok." I sat there, with McKenzie sleeping on my shoulder, not saying anything. I saw a smile on her lips. She must had been having a good dream. I fell asleep too, knowing that she was having a good dream.

McKenzie's POV

I waited until I heard Ian snoring. I quietly lifted my head from his shoulder and went outside without making a sound. I sat down, contemplating my life. My complete mess of a life. I sat there staring up into the sky, thinking. I heard a rustle in the bushes. I tensed, and got up, pulling my sword out. I crept up, and I felt intense pain in my head. I cried out in pain, and fell unconscious.

Ian's POV

Someone was shaking me. I said groggily, "Whaddowant?" The reply said, "Ian. I shot McKenzie on accident."
