McKenzie's  POV

When I woke up, I still had two black eyes. I sighed, sat up and felt around. I was on a bed, and I think I was in my house. I heard a groan. It came from the guest room. I leaned back, and hit my head. I cried in pain. I heard footsteps on the stairs and someone asked, "Are you ok?" I didn't recognize the voice, and I knew the voice was a guy. I said, "Yeah, but I wish I could see." There wasn't a response. I asked, "Who are you?" The guy laughed, "My friends call me Fluffy." I smiled, "Are you friends with Sir Mitch?" Fluffy laughed, for a long time. "Yes." Fluffy kept laughing, but it was quieter now. I asked concerned, "Is Squeaker ok?" Fluffy didn't say anything but, "Who's Squeaker?" I swung my legs over the bed, but my head still hurt. I paused and hoped the pain would go away. It didn't but I still got up. I tried to walk but I fell. I think Fluffy caught me, and my head hit his shoulder. I gave a cry in pain. I heard a derpy voice say, "Try to fight me without seeing now McKenzie." Fluffy sat there, with me in his arms. I think he was in shock, I tried to get up, but Fluffy wouldn't let me. Suddenly there was a THUNK. Fluffy put me on the bed and talked to the person who hit Derp, "Good job. Are you ok now?" The person said, "Yeah, I'm ok. I will have scars though." I recognized that voice at once. "SQUEAKER!" I tried to lift my head, but the pain stopped me. I whimpered, and Squeaker said, "McKenzie!" Squeaker whispered into my ear, "You saved my life. Thank you." I smiled, but it was painful. I passed out, from trying to smile. I whispered, just before the blackness claimed me, "Squeaker, I..."

Squeaker's POV

McKenzie had passed out. I checked for a pulse, it was getting more faint every minute, "JEROME!" I screamed. He looked at me. Tears ran down my face, "We're losing her." Jerome ran out to get Seto. I whispered, "We can't lose you now, McKenzie. I need you." Tears were running fast now. I grabbed her hand just before Jerome came in, with Seto. Seto did something, and I felt McKenzie's hand getting warmer. She let out a sigh. I realized I had been holding my breath, and I let out my breath. I let go of her hands and looked at McKenzie. Her eyes were back to normal, like she hadn't been punched at all. Jerome said, "I'll go outside." Seto nodded and said, "Yeah, me too." They both walked out. I brought a chair next to McKenzie, McKenzie whispered, "Check Ian." I asked, "What?" Her eyes opened, and I hadn't realized she had dark brown eyes. "Check Ssundee." Her eyes were worried. I said, "I will." Her eyes softened, and she whispered, "You're a good friend." She closed her eyes and I quickly checked her pulse. She was just sleeping. I smiled and walked out. Jerome and Seto were talking quietly. I pushed pass them, something must have happened to Ian. I went to where he told me where he was going to get some water. I saw a figure in the water. "IAN!" I shouted. No response. I ran out into the water. Swimming faster than I ever had before. I dived underwater. Ian was just laying there. Fear went through me, but I grabbed him off the bottom of the lake. I swam up, and I got looks from Mudkip. He seemed confused, and I looked down, Ian wasn't there. What? I looked at my arm. There was a burn. I said out loud, "Huh?"

McKenzie's POV

After Squeaker left, I opened my eyes. I looked at the figure in the shadows. It was Derp. I whispered, "Derp?" He was unconscious. I got out of my bed, and grabbed Derp. I knew that Squeaker would be confused. I opened the door expecting Fluffy. No one. I went outside. They were all at the lake. Oh no. I ran as fast as I could, with Derp. I ran to the mountains, the snow biome. Derp started to shiver. How would I keep him warm? I ran to my village, it was in a dessert biome after all. I ran to my village and went into my house. The bodies weren't there anymore. I ran upstairs, and put Derp on my old bed. Derp started to stir, he sat up. I was hiding in the shadows, hoping Derp wouldn't look my way. He didn't, but he muttered, "Where am I?" I came out of the shadows, "You are in the village you destroyed." My eyes darkened, "The one I lived in." He looked at me with fear in his eyes. "If you kill me, you kill Ian!" My eyes kept looking at him, filled with anger and hate, "That's the only thing keeping you alive." I coldly walked downstairs, and suddenly there was pain in my back. I looked at my shoulder, and saw a diamond sword in my back. I whispered, "Water, protect Ian." I heard whistling, and I was gone.

Ian's POV

When I woke up, I was at the bottom of the lake. I quickly swam up. Everyone was there, except for McKenzie. I asked, "What happened?" Squeaker said quickly, "McKenzie told me to find you, and so I found you at the bottom. I swam up and found that you were still at the bottom, and I have this burn mark." She showed me her hands. I got out of the water, soaking. I looked up, and saw Seto, questioning me with his eyes. He turned away as soon as our eyes connected. Suddenly water was surrounding me. There was a water sphere and I was in the middle, I shouted, "WHAT"S GOING ON?!" No one responded. I fell unconscious.

When I woke up, I was still in water. It seemed like it was protecting me. No matter how hard I tried to get out, it always followed me. I sighed, exhausted by my efforts. It must have been McKenzie. I whispered into the water, "I'm ok!"  I repeated that until my voice was hoarse. I looked around, I still was at the beach. Only two people where there and that was Squeaker and Seto. They were talking to each other, but I couldn't hear what they were saying. I felt my eyelids drooping, as I fell into a dreamless sleep.

McKenzie's POV

I thought I had died, but no, only fell unconscious from loss of blood. I heard, "I'm ok!" Over and over until the voice stopped. I was confused until I realized the voice was Ian's! I laughed, and said, "You can stop protecting Ian now." I heard whistling again, and I knew it was gone. I tried to get up, but failed miserably. I cried out in pain. I looked at my leg. There was a deep gash in my leg. I checked my back, but when I touched the gash, my hands was full of blood. I called water, but the water didn't work on it. I checked my burns. They were healing, but they would leave scars. I sighed, and sat there. I asked the water, "Can you get me two pieces of cloth." The water rushed away, and when it returned, it had 2 pieces of cloth. "Thank you. You may go." The water whooshed away. I put the cloth on my leg and the cloth immeadiatly was soaked with blood. I sighed, knowing no one knew where I was.

Long chapter, and I can't wait! Tomorrow is my birthday! YAY! I may post a chapter to something tomorrow but it depends if I have a good day.
