Masked Man

Ian's POV

Once McKenzie dissapeard, the masked man stood there in astonish. He dissapeared in a black mist. I asked out loud, "Who was that?" The girl McKenzie knew said, "I don't know." I stood up, and looked the girl in the eyes. She had dark green eyes, kinda like a forest. I asked, "What's your name?" The girl crossed her arms, "Your's first." I said, calmly, "I'm Ian and this is Squeaker." I pointed at Squeaker. The girl nodded and said, "I'm Parker." I looked at her, and asked, "Did you know McKenzie before?" Parker said, calmly, "Yeah I did." I looked at her in the eyes, and saw she was panicking. I decided to let it slide. 

McKenzie's POV

My mom told me to fade into mist, and I asked my mom, while I was still mist, "Why do I have these powers?" My mom responded, "You need them to free Molly from her pain." The words echoed through my mind. I looked behind me, even though I was mist. A dark mist was following me. I closed my eyes and thought of a place where I would be safe. 

Derp's POV

I swore out loud. Why does the bad side always ruin my day. I go to the cemetary I set up. Of course I was good when I set it up, and surprisingly, the bad side didn't want to ruin it. I went back to McKenzie's house, and saw mist. The mist was starting to become solid, and once it finished, McKenzie fell forward. I caught her just before she fell. She didn't seem consious, and I hoped she was alive. Water surrounded McKenzie and I. I looked at McKenzie's lips, and they weren't moving. Water continued to flow around us, but strangley it wasn't getting us. I whispered in her ear, "Are you making this happen?" A voice echoed through my mind, "No, I'm not. The water isn't responding to me!" I stared at McKenzie in amazement. McKenzie opened her eyes, and her dark brown eyes stared into my soul. I felt pain in my chest, as if I was being pulled away. I struggled as I was pushed against a wall. I blacked out. 

McKenzie's POV

I could tell Derp was surprised when I spoke to him in thought speak. I saw a black mist forcing Derp to the wall. Derp struggled as he was forced there. Then his eyes became blood shot. Derp struggled more and more, getting angrier and angrier. I felt a cold hand on my throat. A scream echoed through my mind, as I remembered Squeaker screaming at the figure. The person laughed, as it watched Derp struggle. I took my chance and whipped around. It was a masked figure, but I could tell it was a guy. The masked man said, "Smarter than she looks, huh." My eyes widened, "Why would you do this?!" The masked man looked at me, "Your laugh annoys me." My eyes hardened, "Dylan." Dylan laughed, and grabbed me by my neck and pushed me to the wall next to Derp. Derp had given up, and his eyes were no longer blood shot. Dylan looked at me, but I couldn't tell what he was expressing. He motioned for the black mist to hold me. I whisled, and my water horse came. Dylan paused, and I told the horse in my mind, "You need to tease him and protect Derp!" Dylan sent the black mist and trapped the water horse. I screamed in pain, as he made it tighter and tigher. My screams were equal with the horse's. I whispered, "Go..." The horse dissapeared. All my engery had been gone. Dylan suddenly made the mist let go, and I fell down like a rag doll. I whimpered, and Dylan kneeled down, at my level. I could barely pick up my head, he whispered, "I'm coming for you."

Ian's POV

We heard a sceam, and I could tell one was McKenzie's and the other sounded like a horses. Parker's eyes widened. She started to run out, but she ran into Mitch. They fell down the stairs, and Mitch asked, "Who the nether are you?" I laughed, as I walked down the stairs and found Mitch on Parker. Parker pushed Mitch off of her and tried to run out the door. I grabbed her arm, and Parker gave me a glare. I said, "She can take care of herself." Parker looked at me like I was crazy. I heard Derp in my mind, "So...Tired. Masked man...really powerful. More...than...bad....side..." My eyes widened. I said, quietly, "The masked man is really powerful. He must have her." Parker looked at me like I was crazy. I guess I kinda am, in a way.
