Our Past

After McKenzie left...

Tristan's POV

I followed the Lady of Harmony. I looked back, but Molly was running everywhere, looking for something. I just sighed, and kept following my Lord's sister. I saw the former Light Lord's soul following us, but the Lady of Harmony didn't notice him. The former Light Lord followed me everywhere, and I was surprised that no one saw him. Not even his own brother and sister. He did say to me that no one could see him, but I didn't believe him. If I did tell someone, they would think I was crazy.

Back to the Present

McKenzie's POV

I whipped my head to the source of the voice. It was the guy who I told to help me get out. I blinked in surprise, because he had a bow on his back. The guy asked again, "How did you do that?" I gave him a small smile, "Well that's a secret you won't know!" The guy gave me a face I don't know how to describe. He had a small smile on his face, as he tackled me. Immediately, I pushed him off, not knowing if he was a pervert. (Don't be a pervert. Plz for Ianite's sake!) The guy smiled, and I raised my eyebrows. He said, "My name's Aidan." He put out his hand. I said, warily, "I'm McKenzie, and if you even try..." Aidan said, too fast, "NONONONO I DIDN'T MEAN IT LIKE THAT!!!" I started to laugh, and he laughed with me. I smiled, and he smiled back. I turned my head back to the lake, and asked, "What happened to everyone else?" Aidan sighed, "Well Molly kinda went crazy." I turned my head back to Aidan, "What?!"

Aidan's POV

McKenzie seemed surprise that Molly would do such a thing. I replied, "Yeah, and then the gods went away when she went crazy. I think it was because you weren't there." McKenzie stared into the water, as if she didn't know what to think. I saw the water shine, and I repeated the question I had first asked, "How did you do that?" She said, in a whisper, "I am the replacement to the Lady of Harmony." I gave her a look, and said, "Molly is the replacement for the Dark Lord!" McKenzie nodded, and replied, "I know. She's my sister."

Summer's POV

I could tell something was wrong with Ian. After putting my bow away at Adam's house, I ran to Ian's house. However, I ran to the wrong house. I had ran to Mitch's house, and he wasn't there. I saw a figure run off in the darkness. I went in the house, where the figure had just ran out from. I saw Mitch on the ground, but there was no injury. I also saw Ian, and he was on the ground, with a scratch on his arm. I grabbed the wash cloth from Ian's sink, and placed it on the wound. Then I put the 2 guys on the couch, and followed the spots.

I reached the end of the spots, and found a girl and a guy. I hid behind a bush and listened to them. Apperently that the girl's sister is the replacement of the Dark Lord. Since I was a bit off, I hadn't heard the whole conversation. I leaned into the bush, and I fell out. The girl turned her head, but the guy didn't even noticed, and when she looked at him, she facepalmed. I had to laugh, and she laughed with me.

McKenzie's POV

The girl seemed nice, so I helped her up. I said, "Hi! I'm McKenzie, and that's Aidan." I pointed at Aidan. The girl smiled, and said, "Well I'm Summer, Sky's older sister!" I smiled, but my smile fell quickly when I thought of Ian. Summer asked, "What's wrong?" I said, softly, "Nothing..." Summer suddenly blurted, "I followed your tears." I gave her a look, and said, "Ok...I have an idea! How about we make a campfire, and talk about our pasts!" Aidan nodded, but Summer paled. She said, "Let's not do that." Aidan said, "Oh come on Summer. Being a party pooper?" Summer glared at him, and almost punched him in the face, but I touched her back, making her turn around. I said, "Your's can't be as bad as mine..." Summer raised her eyebrows, "I think it will!" She said. I said, "Maybe but maybe this will make us friends." Summer sighed, knowing she lost the battle. "Ok, let's make a campfire here." Aidan and Summer got up. I got up, and lost my footing. Everything went white, and I said, "Why is everything white?" I felt a hand on my back, as my vison came back. Summer said, "How about you stay here, and we'll get the materials." I nodded, and watched them leave. I fell asleep, somehow.
