The truth

A/N I'm sorry it's a bit late, and I will make up for it!

Ian's POV

I slowly opened my eyes. What I saw wasn't water but it was Squeaker and Seto looking at me in wonder. I croaked, "What happened?" Seto opened his mouth but Squeaker interrupted him, "After you fell unconscious, the water whooshed away." Squeaker looked at me, her eyes filled with questions. I didn't say anything, but Seto asked, "What is going on?!" I looked at Seto, his brown eyes demanding answers. I looked at the ground, knowing I would have to tell them. I began, "I have a brother, his name is Derp." I didn't mention most of my past but I mentioned everything they would need. Like when Derp I can't move majorly. I was surprised they were such good listeners. When I finished, my voice wasn't working. Seto gave me some water. My throat instantly felt better, and Squeaker asked the million dollar question, "So where is Derp, and McKenzie?" I shrugged my shoulders and said so softly that Seto and Squeaker had to lean in to hear me, "I don't know." Seto looked at me, then he looked up realizing something. His eyes had fear in them, "I have to go!" I sat down, in shock, "What?" Squeaker had the same expression her face as I did. Seto looked at me, and I could see his fear. I said, "I guess this is goodbye then..." Seto shook his head. He looked at Squeaker and then me, then he stated, "This won't be the last time we meet, but I guess for now it's goodbye." He nodded at me, and went up to Squeaker. He gave her a hug, and she hugged back. I stared in surprise. Seto never hugged people. He looked at both of us, and ran off into the distance. 

Squeaker looked at me, and said, "When McKenzie told me to go to you, I never expected it was this serious." Her eyes were worried. Maybe I shouldn't have told her, but there is no going back now. I looked down. I mumbled, "Was anyone with McKenzie when she left?" Squeaker thought for a moment, and then shook her head no. I asked, "Did you hit Derp with something metal?" Squeaker blushed and admitted, "I may have hit him with a metal board, but when I heard his voice, I grabbed the nearest thing, knowing McKenzie was weak." I rubbed my head, and joked, "It did it's job. It hurt like the nether." Squeaker gave a small smile but it disappeared quickly. She said, "We need to find McKenzie!" I nodded in agreement.

McKenzie's POV

When I woke up, I realized that I fell unconsious again. I groaned as I sat up on the stairs. I heard a whisper in the shadows, "It wasn't me." I looked up where the voice came from. It was Derp, but it didn't look like him. It wasn't the blood thirsty man I knew so well, Derp looked like Ian, except for the eyes that haunted my dreams. I stared until he broke the silence once more, "I wish that I could be normal." He looked around the house, in wonder, "I would have a house, and hopefully a wife." I listened as Derp kept thinking of a new life. He said he would have 2 kids, but he would let himself and his wife think of the name. I sat there with a smile on my face, not thinking of the pain in my leg or my back. As he talked, and talked, I had a sudden outburst of pain. I gave a sharp cry, and fell down the rest of the steps. I whimpered, but couldn't move. Derp looked at me in surprize, but his nasty smile came back, as if my pain was a game he liked. Derp said, "You think all those words were true? Ha, you wish." "A split personality." The words spilled out. What was that? I asked myself. Derp gave me a confused look, "A what?" I said, even though I still had no idea what it was, "A split personality. One is good, one is bad. How did I know that?" I was so confused. So was Derp. He started to back away, and he said, "I'm going to leave you with your crazy mouth." He started to walk away when I said, "If you dare to go to Ian, I will find a way to kill you. No matter what personality is you." My eyes were like daggers. Derp nodded. It seemed like his good side was stronger in this village. Derp ran off, and I fell to the ground, knowing I had pushed to far. 

Ian's POV

Squeaker and I were walking back as I heard a voice I knew to well. "Ian! McKenzie is at the village, and is really badly hurt. She said I am a split personality, one good, one bad. I promised I wouldn't go to you, but she needs help! Badly!" Derp stopped, and I stopped in place, so confused. Squeaker looked at me, with a weird expression on her face. I said, "Derp says that McKenzie is at her village." Squeaker looked at me, and her eyes widened. She grabbed my arm and basically was dragging me to the village.

So sorry that this is so late, and there will be another part up hopefully tonight, and maybe tomorrow. So anyways, that plot twist! I may have already planned the end of this. Oops.
