"Alice, i'm really not in the mood to listen to what you have to say right now."

"I am mad, and I will never fully understand why you did what you did, but does the father know he has a child?"

She just shook her head.

"Well why haven't you told him yet? Your baby is almost 1 and deserves a father in her life, do FP and I know the dad?"

"Yeah, yeah he's actually coming to meet me now."

"Good, does he go to our school?"

"No, he's a, a serpent."

"What!? How'd you end up with a serpent?"

"Hal and I, we got into a fight, I ended up at the Wyrm, got really drunk, ended up with the father, spent the night with him. Hal forgave me, but then when I found out I was pregnant he left me, because he knew the kid wasn't his. He said he wouldn't raise another mans baby, especially a baby that has a serpent for a father." She said tearing up.

"Do you have any feelings for the father at all?" She asked Gladys.

"No, it was a one time thing, don't even know him that well."

"Well FP and I are right over there with Charlie eating, so if you need backup FP will come talk to him."

"Thanks but, why are you being so nice to me?" She questioned.

"Because I didn't tell FP about Charles, I chose not to because I thought it would be for the better, so he could have the career of his dreams. Fred's mom brought Charles in here and FP saw him, I never got the chance to tell him, he figured it out on his own, and I regret it everyday and I will for the rest of my life, looking at them now? The love that he has for his son? What he gave up for his family? That's all worth it."

"Thanks Alice, looks like he's here so I will let you get back to Charlie and FP."

She just nodded.

She walked back to where FP and Charles were seated and pulled Charles bottle out of the bag and handed it to him.

"Pop came by so I ordered, so what did she say?"

"Well he's the father," She said and pointed to a serpent named Ryder.

"A serpent? How did that happen?" He asked Alice.

"Well, she said she got into a fight with that ass Cooper, and she somehow ended up at the Wyrm, got drunk and ended up sleeping with him. Hal found out and broke up with her when she told him she was pregnant, said he wouldn't raise another mans baby, especially a serpent."

"Bastard, Ryder is a decent guy, he probably will step up."

He looked over and saw them leaving pops together.

"Gladys!" FP called for her.

"Everything's okay FP, he's going to step up, I'm taking him now to meet her. Thanks and I'm so sorry for everything I caused."

"Go on."
