I get to my english class five minutes before the class starts and breathe a sigh of relief.
A tall girl with blond hair sits next to me and sends a smile my way.
I smile back at her and say hie.
"I haven't seen you in this class before,I'm Amber."she says to me.
"Ooh I'm Taylor...and i usually sit at the back that's why you've never seen me before"
She bobs her head up and down so eagerly I fear her head might actually fall of its hinges.
"Ooh alright sweet"
I nod and look forward in time to see the lecture put down her laptop bag.
"Hi everyone.I'm Professor Turning and I'll be taking you through your English class.Now we are gonna start a bit predictably with Shakespeare of course"
The girl on my right scoffs"of course".
I turn her way.She is small,maybe five foot nothing wearing a blue T-shirt with the words woman scorned.Her raid hair is cut boyishly short.when she sees me staring she raises an eyebrow.
"See something you look Blondie?"she asks with a smirk.
I grin at her"yahp..You.I'm Taylor and I believe we are about to friends."
Her eyes widen a little and then she smiles."Thea.Guess yah we are gonna be friends."
Amber looks over at us.What are you guys talking about?"she asks loudly,drawing attention to us.
Professor Turning sharply looks at our little trio.
"Yes miss...."she poses waiting for me to fill in my name.
"Keller"I say feeling myself turn red.
She nods"do share with us what you are discussing"
I clear my throat and look down at my nails trying to find a lie that won't sound so lame.
Thea beats me to it however and said,
"ooh and here I was thinking we are in uni.Or did I miss that part and we are still in elementary school?"
people laugh and I shift burrowing deeper into my seat.
Professor Turning shakes her head and turns her attention back to the rest of the class.The hour flies by and soon we are all filing out of the class with Thea leading the way and Amber trailing behind me.
When we are finally outside,Amber tugs at my hand.
"Hey I see my boyfriend,let's go say hie."
Before I even respond she is running and wrapping her arms around a bulky chest in black.
My jaw drops and Thea turns to look at the same time that Amber says with a giggle,"Taylor and Amber meet Kayden my boyfriend."
Oooh..
"Well library buddy,fancy seeing you here"I say cheerfully.
