Tillie, Jane, Diana, Anne and I were sitting together in the school house. The day before, we had been playing parlour games in Anne's home. It was eventful and fun. We had been reminiscing about it at school... that is, until Josie Pye walked walked in.

"What are you talking about?" There was a snarky tone in her voice.

All of our heads turned to face her.

"We're talking Josie. About all the fun we had at Anne's house yesterday." I said, not breaking eye contact with the long blonde girl.

"Anne invited us over a day of Parlour games!" Ruby chimed in.

Josie stifled a laugh. "Parkour games... without boys?" She scoffed and took her seat in class.

I looked over at Anne and smiled. "She's jealous Anne. She's upset that you didn't invite her."

"Well there's a clear reason for that." Anne said, and then we both chuckled.

During class, Josie had slipped a note to Billy Andrews. I didn't know what it read, but I knew it was trouble.

...

After school had ended Josie and Billy had called all of the boys and girls in our year to the storage room. She made us all sit in a circle and placed everyone where she wanted.

My spot was next to Gilbert Blythe. The Gilbert Blythe. Everyone's dream boy. Smart, handsome, kind. But he belonged to Ruby... because she had dibs, and a proper friend would respect that.

I was startled when Gilbert leaned close to me and spoke. "I'm not a big fan of spin the bottle. The whole game itself is..."

"Disgusting." I said, looking over at him.

"Yes. Disgusting. That's a great for it." He looked taken aback. But I didn't mind that.

"The whole point of this game disgusts me. But we weren't given much of a choice by Josie Pye. She insisted that we all play."

"Well I'm glad you're playing Y/N." Gilbert said, then he leaned back and returned his attention back to Josie, who was speaking now.

"Who wants to go first?"

Charlie Sloan looked over at Diana and grinned. "Diana should go!"

I grinned at her myself.

She just nodded uncomfortably. "Sure." Then she grabbed the class bottle, and spun it the bottle went round and round until it landed on Moody Spurgen.

The pair both stood and made there way to the centre of the circle, quite awkwardly I might add.

Then they both leaned in and kissed. It was short but sweet, and both had giddy looks on their faces. I couldn't help but smile at that.

"Okay... who's next?" Josie spoke.

"Y/N!" Billy Andrews shouted.
