"Damn Zaddy...!" Ebony stared up at Khyree starry eyed.

"What the fuck Nat! My bad bruh, no disrespect-"

"But gawdamn...!" Nori cut Chris off.

"You right there with Shaq...!" Chris said in mild shock, his eyes wide in wonder.

"Why don't you come over my way and I'll be your tiny damsel in distress, my gentle giant..." Ebony cooed, I stood in front of Khyree. My giant teddy bear has been taken the minute I laid eyes on him. Can't claim what's already been taken.

"Oop. Neva mind, looks like this gentle giant has his own tiny damsel." I rolled my eyes at Ebony.

"Sorry Khy...these three fool's are Chris, Nori and Ebony." I turned to look at him. He watched my three friends and a short second later, gave a quick nod to them.

He looked back down at me quietly, that shit back at McDonald's turned me on. He was observant, he knew that I had some type of recognition and he let me do what I do. I stayed close to him, because I knew he was right there and I ain't had nothing to worry about.

"Oh he might be a lethal one. He don't say shit, cuz..." Nori said to Chris.

"I mean he enough to guard all of us!" Chris exclaimed. "I feel so... protected..." He batted his eyes playfully.

"I feel so... inadequate...Here I thought, us three was enough. This seriously gonna fuck up my game with the chicks in Miami. They all finna go to him..." Nori pouted his lips. His eyes looked somewhat glassy, yet sadly put out.

"Ain't nobody stepping up to him." I let slip out.

We posed to be taking baby steps Nat..

"We see you Nat. So, gentle one....since you're taken. Is there anymore like you? Cuz I need a zaddy too..." Ebony twisted her green hair around her finger.

I know Ebony won't do nothing. She not about that, once she sees a man she's interested is claimed, then it's a done deal for her. Another woman though? They might be persistent, I don't think Khyree understand how attractive he is. No worries, I ain't got no problem putting any female in her place bout him.

I looked at Nori, he was seriously feeling some type of way. Chris was smiling to himself, winking at random women and Ebony had that lost, starry eyed smiling little girl look on her face. She was now in lala land, her question obviously forgotten.

"Y'all been eating those damn gummies?" I asked, I knew they were about to come out with some bullshit. The answers came out rapid fire, in synch.

"No."

"Nah..."

"Who me?" Nori pointed at himself, his inadequacy already forgotten, now that he was possibly caught.

"Y'all look so suspect." Kenia said.

"I swear I didn't have...." Nori started. Chris decided to snitch 'em out.

"I had one or two..maybe four. Nori ate the rest of the bag." He pointed to his cousin. Nori looked at him in betrayal.

"I had half a brownie...ok maybe I ate the whole thing." Ebony shrugged.

But why...?

Kenia dropped her head and let out a deep sigh. Brayton laughed to himself shaking his head.

"C'mon y'all! We're gonna be on a plane for 3 and a half hours!" Kenia hissed. These three confined to a closed space, high off of edibles was a disaster waiting to happen.
