MARISSA'S POV.

I have not spoken to Diego since that night he hit me.

I've talked to Monique but I told her to NOT tell Diego anything about me or Alex even though they're still not talking.

The very next day after that night I went house hunting all day.

I decided to move into a house with Alex.

Dimples decided she wouldn't live with me cause she's gonna move in with her boyfriend anyways.

Plus a house is more stable for Alex.

Because of connections I have I found the perfect house and bought it that same day.

It has a big backyard, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, spacious living room and kitchen, palm trees, and best of all, Diego has no idea where it's at.

I'm gonna make sure he doesn't find out where I live.

It was hard to make the process go faster than it's normally supposed to but me and my realtor managed.

I already moved and settled everything into the house.

Alex loves it.

But it's weird living alone.

Don't get me wrong, I love spending time with my son. He's my entire world.

But like I said before, it gets lonely.

Diego's been calling me non stop. But I'm not gonna answer.

I don't care if Diego wants to see our son.

He fucked up.

Never did I ever think he would do that to me.

It's been a week or so since the incident and I'm still hurt.

I'm not just angry, I'm completely heart broken.

I don't think I've ever had a heart break like this.

If I think about it too long I can cry.

And with Alex being around I don't want him to see that.

So I break from my thoughts and spend quality time with Alex.

We're gonna go out to eat, then to Toys R Us and let him get whatever he wants and then come home and play.

He's napping so I start getting ready.

I curl my hair then do my makeup.

Then I change into a black and white striped jaw string hoodie, blue skinny jeans, and all white Vans.

Then I get Alex ready.

I put him on a Oakland Raiders jersey t-shirt, army print shorts, black Nikes, and I take him a black sweater incase he gets cold.

I go out to my car, put him in his car seat and drive to the restaurant.

Once the waiter stops trying to flirt with me and we're seated I order our food.

I get a bacon cheeseburger with fries, and chicken strips with fries and fruit for Alex.

"Here papa take a bite" I say to Alex as I hold up a pineapple chunk to him.

He grabs it and takes a bite.

You think it'd be quiet and peaceful having dinner with a one and a half year old but it's not.

Alexander is a happy kid.

Ever since he was a newborn he was such a happy baby.

Everyone loved that.
