chapter 11 » let's make it official

-ethan's pov-

I woke up with a terrible headache. Great.

I checked my phone,looking for a text from Emma or a new tweet of her's. Nope,to my disappoint, I didn't find anything. Uhh maybe she's fine,just still asleep?Whatever,I guess.

I got up,went to the kitchen to make myself a nice cup of coffee and eat some avocado toast.Grayson was silent, maybe he was asleep as well? I shouldn't make a big deal out of it,but some stuff keep going and going through my head and I think I'm starting to lose my mind. Why were both of them nowhere to be found? 

And after all, Grayson still didn't tell me what the fuck happened at James' party so that was another reason I had to go and talk to him. 

I'll just do it after I work out of a little,I guess.Gray usually gets up very early and works out so the gym is usually a mess by the time I wake up. But when I got there,nope. 

Nothing was messy,nothing was moved. 

So I went to check his room. Nope. He wasn't there.That motherfucker,where did he go? He didn't even work out and the kitchen was clean? Did he spend the night somewhere else?!And so I texted him.

         where are you wtf 

No reply. 

-grayson's pov- 

This was just beautiful. Emma snuggled up to be,peacefully asleep.Maybe..I should steal a kiss? The more I thought of it,the more I thought it was wrong.She was asleep and I had nothing better to do so I decided to check my phone,only to be greeted with 10+ texts from Ethan. Oh shit.Should I tell him I'm at Emma's?I'll lie to him instead..I know that I shouldn't but I must. 

gray: hey ethan sorry bro but i had to go do some stuff i'll be home soon hopefully.

eth: oh ok

Ethan just sent me a simple okay and I thought nothing about it,he didn't mention coming to Emma's so there is nothing to worry about.. Or so I thought.

-ethan's pov- 

Grayson had to go do something so since I was bored I decided to go and visit Emma. I got there and knocked , no answer. 

-grayson's pov-

FUCK IS THAT ETHAN? NOO IT CAN'T BE.

-ethan's pov-

I was starting to get worried so I just tried to open the door. It was unlocked. 

My heart stopped for a bit.

WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENED DO HER? Without hesitation I walked in,ready to fight who ever but instead I saw Grayson and Emma cuddled up on a couch.

-grayson's pov- 

It's Ethan. Now there is no way of getting out of this. I looked at him with sad eyes and it seemed like our eyes were talking without actually saying a word. Mine said that I was sorry and something happened so I had to be there. He responded by clenching his jaw and his face remained a very angry expression. He opened his mouth to yell at me but soon noticed that Emma was asleep.

He sat at the other end of the couch and just looked at me,feeling betrayed.

,,Ethan,no. '' I started but felt like I was about to cry ,,please bro? '' 

,, Grayson. Do you two have something to tell me? '' He said that a little bit louder causing Emma to wake up. 

-emma's pov-

I woke up feeling incredibly safe and comfortable, but when I opened my eyes and actually realized what happened my heart broke. There was Ethan, looking sadly at Grayson and I.

,,No Ethan please it's not what it looks like'' As i said that I  sat up to explain and that caused my bruises to expose themselves.

Ethan sat there mouth wide open and stared at me for a second only to yell after

,,WHAT THE FUCK WHO DID THIS? AND SINCE WHEN YOU TWO ARE SO TOUCHY ?! ''

,,Ethan please listen to me '' I started to tear up and Grayson's head was in his hands.

,,I'm sorry I didn't tell you about this. I know that I should have but I love you and I didn't want you to worry about me. I'm not worth it. Please forgive me ? '' At this points my eyes were full of tears.How could I have done this to him? He looked so angry,sad,and betrayed.He scooted closer to me and looked me deeply in the eyes.

,,Emmo..you should have told me..'' He didn't sound angry anymore. Caressing my face gently,he asked me ,,Who did this to you baby? '' 

,,It was my ex boyfriend, Matthew, don't worry , I'm okay. It could've been worse if it wasn't for Grayson'' 

Ethan's glance quickly returned to Grayson. 

,,Oh...'' 

,,I'm sorry to assume that you two had something..and..''

,,It's okay E'' I interrupted him ,,I love you'' 

,,No it's not okay. I assumed something and almost got mad for nothing.. Thank you..Gray..for protecting my Emmo '' Ethan said as he softly pecked me. 

,,Do you guys wanna do something? '' He asked.

,,Sure,how about you Gray? '' I replied.

-grasyson's pov-

Oh.So that's how it is.

It's okay.I'll be okay. It's just a stupid crush I'll get over.Nothing to special..

,,Earth to Grayson! '' I heard Ethan. Oops,looks like I zoned out for a second. 

,,Oh um yeah sure'' I said not even knowing what they asked.They didn't seem to mind either.

-ethan's pov-

The whole day we were doing activities,such as getting coffee,lunch,cinema..Grayson seemed a little off and distant. I don't know why but I get the feeling that he likes Emma. Which reminds me..we're not even official and I better fix that soon cause I don't want this beautiful chance to slip right through my hands. So,out of the blue while walking,I kneeled down in front of her and held coffee like it was a ring and asked her

,,Emmo,will you be my girlfriend? ''

Her eyes lightened up and she smiled.

,,Ofcourse you dick,you didn't have to be so extra! '' 

I handed her the coffee and brought her into a hug.

,,I love you''

,,I love you too Emmo. ''

-emma's pov-

Holy fuck.I feel happy and wanted for once. But Grayson seemed really sad and I wanted to help him in any possible way I can.So I decided to talk to him later,but for now,I'll just enjoy this beautiful moment I wish I could stay in forever.
