The alarm clock went off, but I had been up for hours. The whole time, I was going over the vision I had to see, trying to remember everything from start to finish. It was harder to remember as time went by. Even as sat, I couldn't help but think back to yesterday when I had the vision. Ivelyn and my friends had pulled me from the cafeteria. It was in that first couple of minutes after I had a vision that was crucial.
"What do you mean?" Kate asked, wanting facts. I had just told them I had seen the Locke's break the Curse -- the one Sarah Good had cast against Daniel's former life: Magistrate Hawthorne. Even as I thought it, I thought it was crazy. How could that be? How could I see something like that? That wasn't even supposed to be possible.
"I mean, I was seeing things through Elizabeth Locke. I saw her talking to Samuel -- her brother, and she tried to convince him to stop the spell to break the Curse. It was so intense. Dalia and Rose were there and then Jonathan showed up." I explained to them who everyone was. As I explained Rose and how she had morphed into something I didn't recognize.
That had been the weirdest part. We all knew Daniel, Giu, Lara, and Lisa were Cursed Ones. They had helped us fight against Sarah Good and her army of Zombie-helpers. Daniel and Giu had helped us against the Cult. The Cursed Ones, weren't people to be afraid of. They were allies. So, as I explained my vision to them I saw most of them look confused.
It took some talking to, for them to understand what this meant. Each of them slowly nodded, as I told them this was important. Breaking the Curse would make Daniel and his family human. This would mean I could have a somewhat normal relationship. Daniel could go back to being a Football player that once a month worked at his uncle's shop.
It would make us perfect.
I did my best to explain this to them, but even after extensive explanation, they looked unsure.
"Ivelyn, think about if there was a spell to make Troy human. You could get back together and it would be perfect. He wouldn't have any reason to leave next year, except for college, but you know what I mean." I rambled on. Even Ivelyn, who I had banked on understanding, raised an eyebrow.
"How is that anything like your vision? Troy not being a Lycan would be a blessing in disguise. But if this spell is real--
"Then it is perfect--
"It would not be!" Kate's face changed into something I didn't recognize. She seemed genuinely upset. "You don't know what you're talking about. Do you even know what kind of sacrifice it would take to unbreak a Curse? Do you realize how difficult it is to undo a Curse? It's the hardest spell to erase! You are incredibly naive." Every word was pointed at breaking me down, but I didn't.
There was an obvious reason to why I had this vision. I was supposed to break the Curse.
"Hold up, this is a bad thing?" Erik asked the Coven.
"There are rumors on this," Kate wet her lips. "Some people think it will not only break the Curse but reverse all Witches magic. Some people that is a radical idea," she took a break and I took my turn to butt in.
"Of course that is crazy! There's no way that undoing one spell would have such a severe consequence. This is a good thing to undo!" I tried to convince the others.
"It's not that crazy, you don't understand the sacrifice needed to break a Curse. It is extreme." She narrowed her eyes at me.
"So? The Curse was a bad thing and Daniel's family has been punished enough. I think we owe it to them to at least try and break the Curse. Who cares what the rumors say." My voice casual and kept. Kate rolled her eyes.
