Sky grabbed her bag from underneath her bed quickly, adding her pregnancy pills and bipolar medication, then made a dash for her dad's room. She looked for his duffle bags and took two packing one of them with his things. Moving as fast as she could, Sky went to Mag's room and did the same, packing her clothes and essentials until she had all three bags in her hand with the burner phone.

She knew Mag's car was here and it wouldn't be traceable since it was parked in the garage. Sky searched her keys and found a beige purse in the kitchen that looked like something Mag would own.

Sky went through it and grabbed the keys with her purse running to the garage throwing the bags in the backseat.

"Okay, the bags are packed. I just need Mag and dad."

Running at full speed, she spotted Mag tending to the food at the party. Sky went to her and dragged her back inside the house towards her car while explaining in a rush. "Mag, we have to leave now. I'll explain on the way to get my dad but let's go."

Mag dragged along in a huff. "Wait! I can't leave, I'm still serving the party."

Once they made it to the garage, she pushed Mag in the passenger seat and got in the front seat pushing the garage door opener. "Excuse my language but fuck that party. We have to go now! Where did you say the work brunch is?"

It would be the first time Mag would go along with her crazy antics in blinding faith but she just had to trust her for her safety. Sky knew it was selfish to leave Carol behind but she treated her horribly and the last thing she needed to do was bring the loud mouthed gold-digger.

Victoria knew the people she cared about was the maid and her father, so leaving her wouldn't do much harm than Carol not having any money.

Sky hit the gas pedal and sped off towards the street as Mag put on her seatbelt.

"Sky, tell me what's going on. I'm getting worried and how did you learn how to drive?"

"I've always known how to drive. One of Carol's guests is a wife to a rich, casino mafia lord or something who's after my baby's father. Now that she knows where I live, we're in danger and have to leave the state now and I don't want you or my dad to get hurt!"

She had to hold it together. Breaking down while driving won't do them any good as well as being pregnant and causing more stress to the baby. Sky glanced at Mag to see her face in horror but just nodded telling Sky where the brunch event was located.

The way Sky drove should've gotten her endless tickets with the countless times she passed a stop sign and a red light but she didn't care. All she needed was to get to her dad before Victoria's men found him.

The building looked like a hotel as Sky pulled in front of the main entrance. She got out and ran to the concierge at the front desk asking for the brunch event. She hurried down the hall to closed doors and went inside looking around to find him.

There he was in a blue suit laughing and talking with a man as everyone continued to mingle. She didn't hesitate but ran straight to him and grabbed his arm pulling him out of the event heading for the car.

"Sky! What on earth-"

"We have to go now! I don't wanna hear a word. I'll explain in the car but you need to get all your money off your card and we have to fucking go!" She stopped in the lobby to look at his worried expression with tears filling in her eyes. No way in hell can she lose another family member. Not again. "Come on, I packed your stuff but we have to go. Please dad just trust me."

He looked at Sky with sadness in his eyes and cupped her face. "Sweetheart, calm down. It's okay, honey you're okay. What's going on? Why are you panicking?"
