"What... are you doing, Michael?" I asked, staring at Michael, who was attempting to climb up iron fences. I sometimes question his stupidity of things. Right now, he's attempting to get into the closed public pool by climbing over the fences.

He shushed me while putting his left foot into one of those tiny holes of the fences. "I'm trying to concentrate here. Now be the good girlfriend that you are and let me do my thing, okay?"

"Dude, if you're still going to be stupid, I'm going to go back to the hotel and leave you be right here," I said to him. "I'm giving you one more chance, Mike."

"Don't leave," he said half-heartedly. He was a little too busy paying attention to the fences and trying to find a way around it or something. "I'll be lonely without you. Aren't you suppose to be my girlfriend? This is not how girlfriends are suppose to work."

"Hello? I'm your girlfriend, not your maid," I snapped, totally pissed off that he really wants to go into that public pools. "Plus, there's a pool in the hotel. Why do you need to come here? Are you trying to prove a point here or something? Or proving that you're actually stupid..."

"Hey! I'm not doing any of those," He began shaking the fences and jumped down, back on the ground. He dusted his hands against each other and turned to me, patting me on the head. "I can't seem to find a way in."

"That's good. Now let's go," I grabbed his hand and was about to walk away when he stayed firm in his place and stared into my eyes.

"There's a reason to why I've come here with you," he whispers, grabbing my hand firmly to prevent me from running away, and staring down at his sneakers. His eyes then traced up to meet mine. He continued, "I used to come here with my family. Now that I'm a star and all, I rarely see them and come here to have fun. So, in exchange, I came here with you."

     "Michael..."

"That's the reason why I came here instead of just staying at the hotel pool. This place... this place has memories from years ago. It goes way back. Now, I'm adding new memories. With... the girl I love." His hands held mine and he leaned closer, pressing his lips on mine.

My lips seem to quiver when his lips and mine touched. Though, we kissed before, it's strange that we're kissing in public. We kissed at the rooftop of Chadstone, where no one was around for sure. Now, we're on the ground, in front of a public pool, kissing! I'm getting a little embarrassed, honestly.

He pulled back and seemed as if he couldn't meet my eyes after the kiss. So his eyes wandered around the place, not able to meet my gaze. "We... should go back. It's getting a little cold."

"Are you cold?" I asked, tugging the sides of my jacket closer. The weather tonight is suppose to be colder than usual. Which was why I brought a jacket. Michael wasn't wearing many layers so I was afraid that he'd catch a cold or something.

"No, I'm hot," he grinned at his joke. "Honestly, not really. You're here, giving me the warmth. It's good enough for me. Even if we didn't get to swim here, I'm happy enough to make a new memory while I'm here with you."

I was about to tease him, telling him how cheesy that was, but realized that it was actually quite sweet. And I almost never wanted to believe in love because of all those horrid memories I had with it. Players, cheaters, liars. I didn't get how I was attracted to them. Michael may look like one but he's not.

"Good night," I mumbled to him. I held his hand for a quick second before disappearing into the elevator.

"Not going to give me a peck?" he grins, leaning forward and probably expecting a kiss or a small peck on his plump lips.

"I... can't," I answered with a quite voice. "We're in the hotel. I have restrictions in here. I'm sorry but I can't. Not when we're here within the walls of the hotel."

"That's a lame excuse," he made a 'tsk' sound with his mouth. Without a warning, he quickly leaned closer, giving me a peck on my cheek and throwing me off my edge of things.

"Mike!" I whispered yell with the sudden kiss on the cheek. "You're not suppose to! Not when we're in the hotel. Now... I... should go." I quickly shut the door by pressing the 'close button' repeatedly.
