Chapter 3 ministry adoption

Harry walked inside the ministry. He saw at reception that it was minster Fawley in charge.  He hoped that he was better than Fudge. He went to the reception desk and asked, "Is their a medical wizard about? I just want a full check over please to see if I am fit and well enough to adopt someone." The person at reception called for Herbert Spleen. He arrived straight away and said, "You the young man who wants to adopt walk this way and I will help you out." Pablo followed him to his office. He sat on the bed and Herbert asked, "How old are you?" Pablo said, "I am 16 years old, I live by myself, I have an elf who helps me and my parents died when I was younger." Herbert said, "Okay perfect backstory, but you do have a curse on you. Have you been 16 for a long time?" Pablo replied, "Yeah 17 years now." Herbert said, "You have a curse that means you stay 16 until your soulmate is born and you have met him or her for the first time." Pablo said, "Wow that's amazing. Could I have that in writing so when I go to Hogwarts the mediwitch will believe me?" Herbert said, "Certainly, it would be my last pleasure, you said you wanted to adopt. Who is the person you want to adopt?" Pablo said, "He's in a place called Wool's orphanage it's in London, I believe. It just has muggles but I believe there's a wizard there that doesn't know he has magic." Herbert said, "I know that orphanage. It's Mrs Cole in charge. I will send her a letter and ask if anyone has been doing anything weird." Pablo said, "Thank you so much."
Within weeks Mrs Cole wrote back and said there is indeed a boy there that's different and needs a special home and she welcomed a visit for an adoption. Pablo thought 'perfect'; he was very happy. So, his elf transported him straight to the orphange to meet the woman. Mrs Cole opened the door and said, "You must be Pablo. Great to meet you." Pablo said, "Wonderful to be here. I would love to meet the boy." Mrs Cole went to show Pablo the boy's room. The second Mrs Cole opened the door the boy asked, "Mrs Cole What can I do for you?" Mrs Cole replied, "Well Mr Harrington here wants to adopt you." The boy was overwhelmed and said, "Okay, I will talk to him alone." Then Mrs Cole left she said, "I won't be far." Pablo went over and sat opposite the boy and said, "Hey young man, I am Pablo Jay Harrington. I am looking for a younger brother and was hoping it would be you." The boy said, "I am Tom riddle what makes you think I would want you?" Pablo replied, "Simple. I think we have things in common. My parents died young and I have a pet snake here." Then a snake appeared and said, "Good evening young boy." Tom said, "hello young snake I hope we can be friends." Pablo also said to the snake, "What you think of Tom?"  The snake said, "he is quite talented."  Tom was shocked. He said, "You can talk to snakes? Wow. I thought I was the only one. Okay I trust you and I'd be happy to be your brother." Pablo said, "Great. Let's get out of here." They left the room and orphanage together. Pablo shouted "DOBBY! Come here." Then the elf appeared, "Good afternoon master, who is this young boy?" Pablo said, "This is my new brother and I am going to look after him for the time being."
