Chapter Five

Piper's Pov
The following weeks passed like a blur. I was still greatly being scolded by my siblings but more or so they were more worried about what the future holds.

Alice knew more about my future then I did. And it scared me. Half of the time. I avoid using her power because I don't wanna see the future, I want it to be a total shock so I know how it affects my life in anyway possible.

I kept deciding to be friends with Bella. It was the only way I could get close to my mate and learn about her as well. So much that I started doing the weirdest thing ever. I started watching her sleep at night. Ew creepy I know but I liked seeing her sleep.

She looked so peaceful and pure. One time she actually woke up and I had to leave fast cause she turned on the light.

This strange girl was really making me feel so different. Almost helping me feel some kind of human. It was lunch time and I was messing around with a water bottle pretending to drink from it passing the salad bar where Bella was.

She knocked over a apple and I quickly caught it making her turn around gazing me. "Here." I told her gently chuckling watching her take the appple "Wow thanks." She called out I gave her a small smile and started walking with her.

"Are you gonna tell me what happened a few ago?" She asked me and I puffed out my cheeks slightly.

"Ah back with the questions." I joked clicking my tongue. "Alright, I had an adrenaline rush, it's common, you can even Google it. " I answered facing her adjusting my tank top a little.

"Adrenaline rush?" She repeated at me looking up at me. I slowly nodded giving her a light smile which she returned.

"You know for once, you should get out, hang out and have fun." She told me gently.

"Hanging out, isn't really in my vocabulary." I joked making her giggle made me feel at least better about myself.

"Come to La Push with me?" She asked me hopeful and I tensed up a little and played with the water bottle more.

"La Push has too many locals Bella." I answered seeing her eyes showing disappointment. "Maybe next time?" She asked me gently.

I gave her another smile nodding and leaned my head down kissing her pale cheek watching it enlightened with a deep blush.

"Next time." I answered and gave her one last smile before I made my way over to my siblings sitting down with them.

"Oh Pipe getting bold." Emmett teased me tossing a grape at me amused. I rolled my eyes playfully, and took a sip from the water actually not tasting half bad drinking half of it.

"What can I say, seeing her blush makes me happy." I commented with a goofy smile and I chuckled when Jasper ruffled up my messy curls.

"Oh trust me, I think you are wanting to do way more then that. " Edward laughed out softly kissing Jace's cheek since he seemed to always have a stick up his ass and a resting bitch face.

Emmett and Alice let out little laughs and I shot him a playful glare pointing a small strawberry at him.

"You stay out of my head, there's thoughts in there you shouldn't be reading." I whined out Edward's whole face twisted in amusement as he played with the apple on his plate.

"I can't help it, you know that, oh? so you mean like, I wanted to trace her pretty soft skin all night, slide my hands lower just to feel the sweet essence that longer on her-" I quickly covered his mouth face if my entire brown skin could be red it would.

"Edward! Hush." I whined loudly the table full of loud laughter and amusement. I wasn't afraid to say that I had vivid thoughts about Bella. It truly wasn't my fault she slept in only her underwear and a small tanktop.

I honestly didn't imagine having a mate would actually feel this nice. Even if she hasn't even noticed yet. But as we get closer she is feeling it too.

I leaned back in my chair lost in my thought again. I'm gonna have to visit her again tonight. I thought smiling to myself I watched everyone talking and staying with each other.
