Chapter Eleven

Piper's Pov
I usually wasn't the type who had really bad anxiety,but in fact in most cases I was the best person for nerve racking situations, but when it now came down to this whole thing with Bella which was very much my own fault, and I was taking responsibility for it, I was still very much stressed out over it.

I shut my eyes for just a moment snapping my eyes open to get a hold of James's sent while me, Edward were chasing after him, while Rosalie and Esme were running ahead with Bella's scent.

I felt my anxiety just strike up when James suddenly stopped letting a loud growl out slamming his fist on the tree speeding away so quick. My eyes grew wide before I used Edward's power to read his mind growling in frustration.

"He figured it out." I sighed roughly kicking one of the trees a little to hard breaking it in the process. "I need to get back to the house." I quickly ordered out call calmness and chill gone before I was using my speed to run back to the house extremely fast.

I arrived before anyone else entering the house messing with my hair I yanked my phone out from my jeans answering "Hey  Alice what's up?" I questioned a little confused.

"Pipper I'm sorry, I... I wasn't watching and paying attention and she went to her ballet studio." I shut my eyes roughly, and this was what I meant about Bella being stubborn.

"Damn it." I muttered quickly telling Alice goodbye, I tossed my phone on the side table slipping back on one of my zip of jackets.

  Jacksonville isn't that far from here, if combine my speed with Edward's I'll get there before anyone. Pushing both my feet behind me, I then rushed away without so much of a blink of an eye.

By the time I managed to arrive to Jacksonville at the old ballet studio I could smell Bella's blood from a mile away, and it made my skin itch and curl up a bit. I could hear her screams, so without much of a thought I jumped up through the window landing on the floor hard I rushed forward shoving James away from Bella.

If I could hold my breath I would at the sight of her clutching her thigh where the blood was pouring out. Focus Piper don't think about the blood. I told myself I went over to her dropping down to rip a small part of my shirt to tie around her thigh lifting her bridal style.

"Bella I'm sorry I thought I got here sooner." I apologized to her feeling her slide her arms around my neck clinging to me "Its okay." She weeps out.

"Hold on." I instructed to her. I just needed to get her outside. It was my goal. I had attempted to jump up straight back from the window till my leg was grabbed and yanked I wrapped my arms around Bella to shield her from the fall, landing on the ground with a grunt, she was yanked from me tossed towards the window.

I glared grabbing James using my strength I slammed him into the nearby mirror making it crack hard. "You are faster then the others." I smirked slightly looking at him still holding his throat tightly.

"I'm strong enough to kill you by myself to." I warned letting my hand dance a little with flames and heat he growled at me kicking me away, I landed back on my feet rushing back over to Bella. I was now smelling much more blood then I would have liked to, but James just kept shoving me away till he dropped down to grab Bella's wrist.

I was just a little too late when he bit into her wrist and I heard the loudest screams that would forever be in my head. I growled grabbing James again quite fast slamming him into the hardwood floor pinning his arms behind him I was in a rage.

Why the hell did I have to be so fucking weak that I couldn't protect her? I felt hands on my shoulders and I looked over "Let your brothers take care of it." Carlisle told me sternly. My expression soften but I moved away from James watching Jasper and Emmett grabbed James, so much was happening in a span of minutes

I could smell Jace and Edward starting up a fire somewhere, I stood up going over towards Bella who was near Alice. "Carlisle! Piper!" Alice shouted out our names. I sped my way over there dropping down next to Carlisle and Alice listening to Bella's scream was almost death to me.

"The venom is spreading." Carlisle told me sternly "What do I do?" I whispered fearful looking at her pained at her loud screaming and her body jerking.

"Suck the venom out, don't apply your teeth." I shut my eyes for a hard minute "I won't be able to stop myself. " I cracked out "Piper if you don't she'll be changed." I snapped my eyes back open looking at Bella. I smiled sadly inhaling moving closer.

"Baby it's gonna be okay alright, I'm gonna make it go away." I told her, I lifted up her wrist, placing her wrist in my mouth focusing on sucking the venom out holding her wrist deeply, a little bits of her blood was entering my mouth.

I shut my eyes at the very intoxicating scent and taste but suck as much her screams faded to just tiny soft whimpers. But I had more self control then I knew.

I pulled her wrist away from my mouth little drops of her blood dripping down my mouth I felt the slight prick of tears that wanted to leave me but they couldn't.

I saved her but that would never change the fact I was a monster and I knew, I always knew I was a monster.
