"WHAT? WHY—WHY WOULD I HAVE FEELINGS FOR PETER?"
Nick Fury narrowed his eyes — eye — at you. The man has known you since you were a child, and now that you were part of his elite taskforce alongside Peter, it wasn't too difficult for him to notice your massive crush on the boy.
"Don't play dumb. I'll call him right now and tell him." The man reached for his phone and put it up to his ear.
"He's not gonna answer you." You said knowingly.
Straight to voicemail.
"Shut up." He muttered. "Where the hell is Parke—"
"Hey." The teenager nonchalantly waltzed into the laboratory with a bagel in hand.
Nick spun around in his chair, abruptly standing up and smacking the bagel out of Peter's hand and across the room. "Hey!" His eyes followed the bagel until it came into contact with the ground.
"Shut up about your bagel. Y/N here has some vital information to share with you."
Peter just now acknowledged that he didn't greet you. "Oh, hi Y/N." He smiled sweetly. "You look pretty."
You waved at him with a light blush floating upon your cheeks, then glanced back at Fury who was shooting daggers. Challenging your superior, you glared back, expecting him to make the next move.
Peter, significantly confused, looked between the both of you to try and receive some clue of what was unfolding. He was not successful.
Then, seemingly out of the blue, Happy ran into the lab and pushed you into Peter's arms. The spider—boy's reflexes allowed him to catch you.
"Y/N has a big fat crush on Peter!" Happy shouted.
Eyes practically bulging out of your head, you looked up at the beautiful boy to find him in disbelief. "He's lying." You lied yourself, awkwardly laughing and standing upright. Giving Peter one last smile, you spun on your heels and sprinted after Happy.
