At my doorstep stood all three of them , dressed up all prim and nice and holding what I could see as the usual deliveries I had been getting over the past few months.
It had been a long time since I had seen them in flesh and I felt a slight giddiness in my heart. Was my heart becoming alive again slowly feeling such emotions after months , I wondered as I stood there in shock. I thought that I should have been angry and anxious seeing them here, but instead the feeling was positive which was strange. I looked at them , still not saying a word but just staring blankly.
Pat was carrying a bouquet of Purple Hyacinths. He wore a Navy blue tux. He looked good and charming as usual but I could see bags under his eyes and he had also lost some weight.
