Niklaus Mikaelson

"I NEED YOU TO FIND A WITCH." I FROWN.

"What witch?" Sirabi spits.

She's not exactly here on free will.

"Nadia Petrovich." I pull a picture of her and a vile of her blood from my shirt pocket.

Sirabi gasps when she hears the last name. Every witch knew who the twins were due to their once very powerful mother.

"Camille Petrovich's eldest daughter?"

"Yes. Now find her."

Sirabi takes the vile of blood and picture from my hands. She holds the picture close to her, whispering a few words under her breath. She mixes the vile with black powder on a map and starts whispering again.

"The witch you seek is not easy to find. Whoever hid her from you does not want her found. Their magic is greater than mine."

"Then try harder." I growl.

I rip my teeth into the palm of my hand and squeeze my blood into the black powder. Sirabi tries again, whispering the same words and having no luck.

"The one that made the cloaking spell of the witch you seek is very powerful. They are the only one to undo what has been done."

I grab Sirabi by the neck, my teeth baring and eyes glowing yellow.

"It is rumored. . .  that a descendent of the. . . Petrovich line wears a powerful amulet that holds an entire coven worth of magic. It is rumored. . .  that is powerful enough to undo. . . any spell." Sirabi speaks through shallowed breaths.

Nadia's amulet.

Ivonna Petrovich

I take a deep breath and run my hand along Nadia's cheek. It was never my intention to take Nadia away from our home or keep her in a death like sleep. It was what was necessary because if not it would cause her or the ones around her harm. My beautiful older sister was strong, but not even her strength could hold the magic of an entire coven forever. I wonder if she thought about Niklaus even in moments like these. I cross the room to where Nadia's amulet lie surrounded by candles marked with the blood of our mother. Nadia's most cherished gift is the one thing keeping her away from the man she so dearly loves. I can't imagine what it must feel like, what she must be dreaming of while she sleeps.

Sitting here without my other half to confide in, it made my mind take some very dark turns and  brought me to places I hadn't been in centuries. A blood moon would need to come soon or Nadia was never waking up. What would I do without her in my life? I can't do without her in my life, I can not physically be without Nadia for so long. Our mystical connection made sure of that. We were the same person in two separate bodies and one can not live with half of it missing. I had three options that I'd have to look at very very soon. Option one: undo the mystical connection that tied us two twins together. Option two: take the blood of my mother and Nadia's amulet to summon a blood moon. Option three: Say goodbye.

My phone rings before I can dive deeper into that dark place. I place it to my ear, stepping away from Nadia as if I'd wake her.

"What do you want, Niklaus?" I frown.

"Where is she?" Niklaus growls.

"I'm not telling you. So stop trying to find her."

"You can't keep her away from me."

"Niklaus, I very well do not care about your feelings. I can ensure you I'm not doing this to spite you, it is for her own good that I keep her in this sleeping spell."
