"I THINK I HAVE AN IDEA. MY MOM USED A desiccation spell on Michael that immobilized him for over fifteen years. If I can get it, I might be able to use it on Alaric." Bonnie says.

"If and might, your words inspire such confidence." Niklaus replies.

I catch the endings of a conversation as I step closer to the Gilbert house.

"I can help." I nod.

Niklaus spins on his heels to look at me. Before two weeks ago, it has been some months since we've seen each other. Him not remembering who I was and all. I know from the way Niklaus is looking at me now, he wants to envelope me and never let go.

"How can you help?" Damon frowns.

My hand reaches for the amulet I haven't been able to remove from my neck since waking up. Niklaus isn't looking at me like I'm the only person in the universe anymore. Now, he's looking at me like I've lost my mind. And he just might want to kill me.

"I have the magic to make sure the spell can be used against Alaric. That or we make them both back human."

Bonnie and Damon stare at me long enough to allow me to know they think I'm absolutely insane. No one has enough magic to turn anyone back human. Being able to use the spell against Alaric — they can get behind that one.

"You have lost your mind." It's Ivonna's words that voice everyone's thoughts.

Ivonna materializes from thin air behind me and sets me with a glare much like my mother's. If there wasn't a rumor going around about my amulet, I doubt she'd care much that I was helping. She might even encourage it.

"No one has that much magic. Not even you." Bonnie notes.

"My amulet holds more magic than an entire coven — is that not enough?" I look at Niklaus. "You need Elena. I'm willing to help."

Ivonna waves her hand in front of Damon and Bonnie to forget my entire part in this conversation.

"What do I owe the pleasure, little witch?" Niklaus turns to meet my eye.

"Let's see if you consider this a pleasure after we're done." I shrug.

I take a seat on the couch, folding one leg over the other. Niklaus doesn't seem to like where this is going. I pull out Nadia's amulet and show it to him. Niklaus is on-alert. He slams my back against the wall, his hand at my throat.

"What did you do to her?!" He's obviously angry.

I raise my hand and he clutches his head, yelling against the pain.

"You should know me better than that. I would never hurt my sister. She's home sleeping, doesn't even know her amulet is missing." I shrug.

Niklaus stares at me, trying to find the truth in my words.

"It's a funny thing, how hard she can sleep after being in a sleeping spell for weeks." I laugh.

"Then why are you here, Ivonna?" Niklaus does not find me as funny as I find myself.

"My sister loves you, no matter how much you hurt her. I don't understand. She pulled that stunt earlier because of you — for you. How many times do you have to drag her through hell for her to understand you are the devil?"

"You can't change that."

"No, I can't. However, maybe you can help me out with that. She's still angry with you for what Kol did and your reaction to it. If she wasn't, she wouldn't have compelled you to forget her. A little more push-"
