Levi's Death?'-Chapter 11

*A month later*

*Jess' point of view*

As all of us scouts rode bac k into the scouting building grounds, everyone got off their horses and took off their cloaks and sat down to rest.

"Phew! That was an exausting mission wasn't it?" I heard Eloise asking Armin. I looked around for Levi to go and talk to him. "I mean for the past month all he's done is worry if I'm alright and how the baby is." I said to myself happily in my head. I looked around for him but couldn't see him. I saw Erwin and wondered if he knew where Levi was. I walked over towards him and as I got closer, I saw how confused he looked. "Hey Erwin, where's Levi?" I asked him . "I was just wondering the same thing." He replied with, sounding very concerned. I suddenly didn't feel happy at all anymore. "But ... wait. ... Well where is he then?!" I asked Erwin, sounding extremely alarmed. Me and Erwin exchanged worried looks for a few moments before he shouted "CAN I HAVE EVERYONE'S ATTENTION?"

All the scouts looked over to his direction as he asked "HAS ANYONE SEEN CAPTAIN LEVI?" It felt like something was in my throat and as if i couldnt breathe properly as he asked if anybody had seen Levi. I looked down to my arms and saw I had goosebumps.

I looked back up to all of the scouts looking confused. "Erwin..." I asked, extremely alarmed. "Where the hell Is Captain Levi?" Erwin just looked at me, thoughts racing through his mind. "I..I...I dont know..." he said to me shakily. Tears formed in my eyes as I started to imagine the worst. All I could think of was the man I loved the most in this world being ripped apart in the jaws of a titan.

"Wait here Jess." Erwin told me. Erwin then told some of the best scouts to get on their horses and that they were going to go and look for him. He then ordered the rest of the scouts to go inside and get some rest. "We will find him, I promise, and he will be alive don't you worry sweetheart!" Erwin told me as he put his hands on my shoulders. Tears were dripping down my face and onto the grass below.
Then he got onto his horse and rode off into the distance with his men.

After a few moments I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned my head to see Eloise. "He'll be fine Jess don't worry." She said, trying to calm me down. I turned to face her. Armin was standing next to her. "Come on this is Captain Levi were talking about Jess! He's going to be fine. He's the strongest soldier out there!" Armin told me. "Thanks you two." I said whilst rubbing my eyes. They took me inside and tried cheering me up but all I could think about was Levi. I decided after a while i needed alone time so I went down to Levi's bedroom. I went in and closed the door behind me. I walked over to the bed and lay on it. I lay where I would sleep every night and imagined Levi lying next to me as he would. I listened to the clock ticking over and over again. A couple hours passed and as the sun started to set, I heard horses outside. "LEVI!" I screamed and jolted out of the bedroom and ran down the stairs and went outside. I ran up to Erwin "WHERE'S LEVI?!" I asked, my heart racing like crazy. Erwins facial expression told me everything I needed to know. He had large dark bags under his eyes and he had a deep wound on his cheek. He really didn't look happy whatsoever. "We couldn't find him anywhere." He told me, his voice sounding rather raspy. He swallowed hard. "But..." I paused trying to hold in my tears. "The titans...they...they probably got him...." he said quietly. He was clearly hurt by not being able to find Levi but he tried not to show it. "I'm so sorry." He said as he got off his horse and walked over to the door. "LEVIIIIII!!!!" I squealed and started climbing onto Erwins horse, but before I could get on properly Erwin grabbed me and pulled me off. "No way are you going out there, You'll get killed too!" He shouted. He took me inside and dragged me up to mine and eloises dorm. "Keep a firm eye on her, DO NOT LET HER LEAVE THIS ROOM DO YOU HEAR ME!" he ordered Eloise and Armin. And then he stormed out of the room.

As much as I squealed and kicked throughout the night, they wouldn't let me out.

Armin went back to his dorm around 1am so eloise got in bed, but she kept an eye on me.

As the sky got darker, she grew more and more tired and slowly drifted off to sleep.

*Eloise's Point of View*

I woke up the next morning, my head aching. As i grasped it, i sat up and walked over to the window.

"Hey Jess, lovely day outside, huh! :)" i grinned, expecting to see her messy purple hair growling at me. (its demonic idk why)

Insead i saw nothing.
I looked in the bathroom but only a single bar of soap was in the sink.

I turned around to where our cloaks were, her's was gone. I ran out the door and into Armin's dorm, where he sat on his bed reading a book.

He glanced over to me and smiled.
"Oh hey Eloise, what are you doing here so early?"
I sat down in a small chair and explained to him about Jess not being there.

He agreed it was bad that she was out there in Titan territory and pregnant so we decided to not tell anyone. Especially Erwin he would kill me!

We ran outside, grabbed our horses and galloped off to find Jess...

*Jess's point of View*

As I rode off into the forest I kept a sharp eye out for Levi. Oh god what had happened to him. I had to find him no matter what.

As I rode deeper into the trees, I decided to go off the path. I knew it was probably a bad idea, but what the hell. "Levi?" I shouted into the distance repeatedly. "Oh come on where are you honey?" I asked myself as I looked down to my stomach, thinking about the baby.

I listened carefully for any voices, but there weren't any. "Levi?!" I screamed once more, now I was really deep into titan territory. I took a deep breath and screamed at the top of my lungs "LEVI!??!!"

To my suprise I heard a muffled manly scream in the distance. "OH MY GOD LEVI WHERE ARE YOU?!?!?!?!" I screamed. As I rode further the screams got louder.

Then...

I saw him...

Lying on the floor...

"LEVI!!" I shouted.

I stopped my horse next to him and jumped off. "J..J..Jess" he said. I could tell he was in pain.

He had a deep cut in his thigh and he had broken both his ankles so he couldn't walk. His right wrist was also badly sprained. I leant in to kiss him and he put his hands on my face. Then he moved his right hand down to my stomach. "I love you." He told me softly. It felt so good to know he was alive. This was the best moment of my entire------"Ahhhhhh" I squealed as I felt something wrap around me and pick me up!

"NO YOU EVIL LITTLE BASTARD GET OFF HER!" Levi screamed to the titan that was holding me. As it rose me up to its jaws all I could do was scream Levi's name. He tried getting up but it was too painful and he had no way of killing it. He had ran out of gas and all his blades were broken. I could hear him screaming my name as the titan opened its jaws. I felt a feeling go through my entire body.

I knew I was about to die.

Just then, Something slashed the beasts neck. As it fell , it dropped me and I landed next to Levi, who was crying so hard he couldn't even breathe.

As the titan hit the ground, I saw four feet hit the ground behind it, too.

It was Armin and Eloise.

Levi wrapped his arms around me tightly and looked at them and said "Oh god thank you so much I owe you my entire life!" He then rested his head on my shoulder and kissed my neck softly. Armin and Eloise helped me get Levi on my horse and he held onto as and the four of us rode back to the scouts headquarters...
