Me and Ansel are at the Doctor's I'm kind of nervous... We are in the waiting room.
Me: (Sighs)
Ansel: What?
Me: I'm nervous... What if it's serious?
Ansel: It's probably just stress.
Me: I hope so.
Nurse: Alejandra!!
Me and Ansel both walk in the room. The nurse gave me a patient gown to put on.
Me: Turn around...
Ansel: (Smiles) Nah...
I threw the pillow at him.
Ansel: Ow! What was that for!?
Me: I told you to turn around... (Laughs)
He turned and I quickly got changed. I sat on the bed shaking my legs. Ansel was holding my hand. It took the Doctor 15 minutes to come in the room.
Doctor: Alejandra
Me: Yes...
Doctor: And he is your....boyfriend?
Me: No, just a friend.
Doctor: Okay. Well... I see your problem. No menstrual cycle, weight gain...
Me: Yes!
Doctor: Hhhmmmhmmm are you having any mood swings lately?
Me: N-.....
Ansel: Yes!
Me: No I don't!
Ansel: Yes you do. You yell. Just like now...
He was right.
Me: Ughhhh true. But I don't get it.. I'm gaining weight, I've been exercising daily, eating healthy...
Doctor: Hmmmmm... Let me look at your stomach, lay on the bed.
He was putting pressure on my stomach. It hurt a bit.
Doctor: Did you have any.... Ummm..... Any sexual experience lately?.
Me:................
Ansel put his head down. I think he knew. I can't be pregnant... Can I?
Doctor: I'll be back soon.
He left.
Me: Ansel?...
Ansel: Yeah?...
Me: Do you think I'm?... Pregnant?.
Ansel: I don't know... Maybe?
Me: Oh my god!...
The Doctor came in with the nurse.
Doctor: Okay! We are going to do an ultrasound on you. Will you please lay down.
Me: Okay...
I layed down and he put this cold gel on my stomach. He turned the screen on and put something against my stomach he was moving it around. I just kept looking at the screen. It took him about 5 minutes to say something.
Doctor: Well... Congrats! You're pregnant!
My jaw dropped
Me: No!!
Ansel put his head down. I could tell he was disappointed.
Me: Are you sure!?
Doctor: (Laughs) Yes I'm pretty sure. I am a Doctor you know..
Me: Oh my god...
Ansel: What's the gender?
I looked at Ansel. I know he always wanted a girl and I always wanted a boy, but I didn't want to get pregnant now! I wanted to wait.
Janelly and Damon are talking about Stefan.
Janelly: I don't know....
Damon: About?
Janelly: About living with Stefan. I miss him...
Damon: No! Don't go back! He kissed your friend! And gave her the necklace. She lived with him! You don't know what kinds of things they did!
Janelly: Yeah..., But....
Someone knocked at the door.
Damon: I'll get it!
He got up to answer it.
Damon: Who are you??.
???: Hi! I'm Angelique! Janelly's friend. Is she here?
Damon:.... JANELLY!
Janelly: Coming!........ Hi!
Angelique: Hey!!
Janelly: Hadn't seen you in a while.....
Angelique: Ugh! I know after all the shit that's been happening....
Janelly: I know...
Angelique: Had you talked to Ally lately?
Janelly: Nope!!
Angelique: Why?
Janelly: Just cause. I'm not ready yet. Aren't you dating Ansel?
Angelique: No... It didn't work out.. I'm dating somebody else. We need to catch up. There's a lot going on. May I come in?
