Chapter 40

I didn't feel anything. He missed. I looked up to see the gun pointed at Austin's head. His hands were up. I got back up and hit him where the sun don't shine. He pulled the trigger and hit my arm. I fell back down in pain. I saw the gun and grabbed it, as well did Harry. I looked up at him at his furious eyes. He was giving me the death stare. I didn't see Austin. He disappeared. It was just me and Harry. I was loosing blood and fast. I can't give up. I gotta fight this. I couldn't let him win again. I felt myself getting weaker.... And weaker..... And weaker.... Harry got the gun and pointed at me. I closed my eyes and lied still. The door slammed open.

???: Harry!!?

Harry: Well look who it is.....

???: Let her go!

Harry: NO!

I looked to see it was Ansel and Stefan. I tried get up, but I fell back down.

Ansel: If you were man enough you would drop the gun and fight me!

Harry: (Laughs) I'm not going to do that....

Stefan: She's bleeding!

I felt Ansel running towards me. I opened my eyes to see him. Tears were running down his face.

Ansel: She needs to go  to the hospital now!...

Harry: She's not!...

He pointed the gun down at us. Stefan was just standing there, staring at Harry. Then Stefan punched Harry in the face and grabbed the gun. He shot Harry multiple times in the chest.

Stefan: You're dead now!

Ansel and I stared at him in shock. Stefan pointed the gun at us. We both screamed.

Stefan: What?....

Ansel: Nothing! Help me pick her up and take her to the hospital!

They both picked me up and took me in the car and rushed to the hospital.

11 months

Ansel and I have a baby girl name Alice. We both love her very much. I'm finally happy with my life. No more stress. I go to therapy now. I still cry at night. I miss Michael. I don't think I can ever forget about that tragic night. I remember it all... I didn't just loose a friend... I lost an important person in my life and I feel that it's my fault that he is no longer here. Janelly is back with Stefan we are back on good terms for now. She had her baby boy name

Christain and no it's not Stefan's it's Damon's. Damon is in jail for robbery. Janelly and Stefan are getting married in a few months. Angelique is back with Dylan. She's pregnant with a girl. I'm happy for her.

Ansel: You ready?...

Me: Yes babe....

He smiled and grabbed my hand he took me to the kitchen.

Me: I thought we were going grocery shopping?...

He laughed and opened the back door. My jaw dropped. Everybody was here. Flowers surrounded everybody.

Me: What are you guys doing here?...

They all laughed and smiled. Ansel grabbed my hand and got down on one knee. I stared down at him.

Ansel: I know we had our ups and downs, but we got through it all. And I wanna take it further.... I love you. And Alice. I wanna make this family thing right. So.......

He pulled out a small box and opened it.

Ansel: Will you marry me?....

Tears were running down my face.

Me: Yes! Yes!

A big smile came across his face he got up and hugged me.

Ansel: I love you....

Me: I love you too.

He put the ring on. And everybody was clapping.

Ansel: You're finally mines...

Me: I'm finally yours...
