The Ambush

Leon rubbed his head. Nita stroked Bruce soothingly who kept growling. Jessie picked up Scrappy. The five of them, stared into the old eyes of Mike, bird eyes of Crow and many dozens of bright red and lit eyes. Jessie firmed her grip on Scrappy, muttering to him soothingly. Her other hand held her shocker. She knew that with this amount of enemies, it would be worth using. Leon dulged his hands into his jumper pocket and from the edge, there was a soft gleam of his shurikens in the light. Nita held her hands near her source of power, her paw necklace. She had never taken it off since she had found it. "So......" Mike said sinisterly. His hat gave a small cheep.

The dozens of eyes buzzed. Nita whispered, "Jess, Leon, I think they're......."
"Robots." Mike finished her sentence.
"Fickle things these are, 100% expendable and 100% useful," Crow patted a huge boss-level robot. It buzzed. Mike held a pad and he tapped away on it. It probably had some sort of control on the robots because then, the huge and grey boss robot slowly began to stomp his way to the group, sprawled on the floor. They crab-walked their way back, as Leon threw a shuriken. Bruce held Nita's middle, carrying her back.

But they were unaware that the boss in front of them, was a distraction, 5 huge purple boss robots grabbed the teens, Bruce and Scrappy, lifting them into the air. "Ow, there grip hurts so much," Jessie winced.
"Well, duh, these are purple bots, they hold double the power of this grey one here," Mike pointed a figure at the bot that distracted them.
"Master will be pleased,"  Crow evilly said.
"Go on then, who's your so called master? I bet I can give him a butt-whooping!" Leon yelled.
"Master Krevil," Mike answered. Nita gasped. "We knew it!" Nita tried scrambling free, but her hands couldn't reach her paw pendant around her neck. Slowly, slowly, she twisted her hands up towards it. She needed to only go up 5cm more.

Leon's Pov

I closed my eyes, not as if you could see them anyway. I concentrated and managed to grab a smoke bomb from my shorts' pocket. I lifted my hand as high as I could, and threw it down. The purple robot holding me, dropped me straight away. He tried grabbing the air but missed, he buzzed angrily. Mike squealed and Crow made his annoying bird noise. I had to free the others and get help. Or we could fight them.

Leon tiptoed on speed to Nita and used his small knife to cut the robot's hand away. Nita dropped down and immediately held her hands near her pendant and created a deep rupture in the ground and a huge shockwave which bounced off all of the mini robots and the two brawlers. "Leon!" Jessie shouted. He was blasted in the back with a rocket. Nita yelled and hurriedly used a shockwave. It shook off the robots hands on Bruce and Jessie. Bruce advanced on to the robot that shot the rocket, blocking them easily.

Nita went over to see Leon. Jessie ran to the robot holding Scrappy and whacked his robot head, with her frying pan, so hard, it sounded extremely echoey, like a shockwave. Leon eventually got up and shot many of his shurikens at the small bots. So did Nita, using her shockwaves to make all of the robots fall so Jessie could use her shocker and it wouldn't hit her allies. Mike gasped, and Crow started to flap.

All of the robots were defeated, by three teens. Oh, his master would not be happy. "Don't you think you're getting away!" Nita bellowed. Bruce laid his hand down which Nita jumped on, and threw her up to Crow. Meanwhile, Leon threw some shurikens at Mike and he crumpled. Scrappy shot perpetual bullets at the man. Just when Jessie was about to whack him with her pan, he turned in to smoke, and it glistened brightly, his Death Elixir. "En't that illegal?" Leon sarcastically laughed. Jessie gulped nervously.

Nita landed on Crow as he tried to flap away, using her shockwaves to pull him down. "A.   Little.    Help.    Here." Nita paused after each word and whacked him on the head with her bear strength. "Jump!" Leon shouted throwing three shurikens and Jessie's frying pan. Nita fell down but was caught and hugged by the Shiba dog. The shurikens jabbed Crow and his feathers, and the frying pan, which he had not expected, hit him on the head so hard, he shot down to the ground where his Death Elixir lay. Oof. "Woah, how did we do all that?" Jessie stared into space.
"We were awesome, so let's go check this place out. They're probably just respawning right now," Leon smirked. Nita shrugged and followed him.
