Shelly panted heavily in the bushes of Erratic Blocks Showdown. After her encounter with Bull, who she just managed to finish off and hide from an incoming new brawler.

New brawler's pov

Showdown was hard and i hadn't expected it. El Primo had told me what they had to do but i had never died before so i was pacing myself, i didn't want to experience that. But i felt the pain of someone's sniper, and decided to take no chances. I took to the bushes where it seemed most players went to rest and have solitude. So that's where i was, waiting. It couldn't be that hard as there weren't that many people left. Only me, Shelly, the sniper girl and another brawler.

Barley rummaged through the arena, throwing far his poison bottles, trying to reveal everyone's whereabouts as none of the remaining players were to be seen, so were waiting to sneakily surprise him and kill him. He then went to rest in a nearby bush.

I thought of the players already out and how they'd be wanting to grab and drink from my Tavern. I liked to please my customers.

Piper's pov

Oh the agony. I would really like to go home to try on my new dress and sleep. But i was determined to win. I couldn't let that Shelly beat me three times in a row with her cheap hiding and effective super. If she dared to come into this bush i was in, i would use my grenades to finish her off.

Piper held her grenade loosely in her gloved palm, throwing it up and catching it. A slight rustle of the bushes caught Piper's attention on the far end of her bush. It steadily made itself closer. Piper readied to open her umbrella and fly off, letting her grenades go when she saw a prickly hand fly in, knocking her back and a dark-skinned boxer with purple hair and cacti gloves approached her. Piper rubbed her side, looking a the new brawler. "Ello ello ello!" The brawler waved with a small smile on her face. Piper drowily stood up, taking in her appearance. "Where are your manners?" Piper grumbled, pushing a long blonde streak of hair behind her ear. "Oh fungus. You're going to kill me, are you not? I just thought you were Shelly," the other slowly said. Piper put her grenades into the umbrella and closed it. "I'm Piper. Do you want to team against Shelly?"
"Sure. By the way, Rosa is my name, Botney is my game."

Shelly's pov

The sun blared down. It had been about half an hour since anyone had brawled and i felt so bored, bored enough to kill myself and carry on my life in Brawl Town. But i knew I would never do that. I really wanted to win. I decided to relocate myself to find a brawler but wasn't sure what brawlers were left and if they'd be a threat if to approach them. I settled down in the middle of the map, in a vast bush, waiting.

This was getting boring. I wanted to go back to my Tavern and talk with my robotic brothers but i had to finish this match. Where was the other brawlers? It wasn't even showdown yet and it had been 3 hours at least.

Barley polished his bottle with a napkin and straightened his hat. He slowly walked out, continuing to try and reveal brawlers hiding by throwing his poison bottles.

Meanwhile, Piper and Rosa had to keep relocating towards the middle as he poison clouds were started to advance at them. Piper panted lightly as Rosa checked each bush they came to. Until a poison bottle caught the girls head on. They fell back, spluttering as Piper steadied her eye to the eye piece of her snipebrella. "Your umbrella gun sure is powerful. It hurt," Rosa pointed to where Piper had previously hit her with it before they started teaming. "Oh sorry, sweetheart," Piper sarcastically apologised.
"Haha," Rosa muttered back.
"I think we should finish Barley first. I don't want him throwing his poison bottles when I face Shelly," Piper said, lowering herself in a small bush while waiting for the next poison bottle to give away his location.
