Chapter 1: This is my fault

how did this happen..why did this happen all over a stupid splatfest. Sure it might've been the final one but it still was stupid, since the splatfest ended in a tie Marina has gone missing and there have been reports of octolings going missing all over. This is where your story takes place.

You were walking downtown carrying your favorite weapon with you every since the finalfest happened chaos has been spreading like wildfire, buildings are being burned down and salmons are taking over..not only has marina gone missing few days later it is said that pearl has gone missing herself with both of the idols gone inkpolis has been in a state of anarchy. Everywhere you go someone is being splatted maybe for good or maybe they'll respawn you never know nowadays. The friendly turf wars and sometimes friendly ranked has been burned to a crisp. It is said that some of the civilians has retreated to a underground shelter "The deep sea metro" while the "corrupted ones" as they called them stay on the surface trying to either rule the world or watch it burn. You yourself didn't choose a finalfest team you couldn't decided you wanted to have freedom but also safety you wanted things to change yet not at the same time. You never knew this would happen (I know finalfest didn't end in a tie but for plot purposes...) you always blamed yourself for this for the finalfest being a tie everyone participated but you. And now you wonder around with your weapon in hand, a backpack with extra weapons and extra ink tanks, clothes, food. And hope that you can make it to the deep sea metro
