Logan's pov
It was Friday and everyone was running around the house and putting their bags in the cars. "Dad! We have to leave in the next 2 minutes if we want to catch our flight!" I yelled.
"Okay, Lo, we're making sure we have everything." I showed him a huge list. "We have everything. I made a list of everything we packed and it's all there. Now we have to go!"
"Okay okay. Everyone in the car!" We all got in the car and I sat next to Colby. He grabbed my hand and interlocked our fingers.
"Dad, did you already ask Mama Marcel if him and Simone could come visit?" Alex asked.
"Yes and they said they'd be there when we got there."
"Yes!"
"Why do you call him Mama Marcel?" Brennen asked.
"Because he acts like a mom along with Brock and Bryce." He nodded. "Dad, we have an hour to get to the gate."
"Lo, I know." I nodded. I felt bad because last night I told Colby some stuff was going to happen, but it didn't. After a quiet car ride, we finally pull up to the airport.
"Dad, we only have 37 minutes we have to get there," I said. My anxiety was really kicking in.
"Lo, calm down. We still need to go through security."
"I hope they move fast enough."
"Me too," Dad mumbled. We headed inside and made our to security which thankfully and surprisingly had no people in line. We took turns going through and Colby set off the detector with his rings. The rest of us went through and, luckily, weren't flagged. We headed towards the gate.
"Dad, we don't have a lot of time," I said impatiently.
"Princess, calm down. We have more than enough time," Colby said squeezing my hand.
"Lo, you can chill because we're at the gate," Dad said pointing up at the sign. I sighed. We went through the gate and boarded the plane.
"I hope this flight goes quick," Alex said.
"Dad, when are we taking off?" I asked.
"Should be soon." I nodded bouncing my leg.
"You feeling okay, Alex?" I asked.
"I'm fine for now." I nodded.
"Dad, we were supposed to take off two minutes ago," I groaned.
"Attention all passengers please buckle up we are about to take off."
"Finally, it's been long enough," I said rolling my eyes.
"Princess, you need to be patient," Colby said.
"Colby's right, Lo," Dad said.
"I'm sorry," I mumbled. Colby kissed the hand he was holding. I blushed a little.
~~~~~~time skip after the flight~~~~~~
We got home and walked in. I set my bags down in the living room and grabbed Colby's hand. "C'mon!" I said trying to drag him up the stairs.
"Well, okay." I took him upstairs and showed him my room.
"I'm sorry it's so dark. I have blackout curtains because sunlight is a no no," I said giggling.
"What are you, a vampire?" he asked jokingly.
"I don't think so," I said laughing. "I mean, I'm pale and hate the sunlight." I pretended to think for a second. "Nah."
"Just as long as you don't sparkle I'm fine with you being a vampire." I laughed.
"I don't sparkle. I promise."
"Okay good." I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"So what you want to do."
"Well, we do have to unpack. I gotta empty my one dresser for you. After that, it's just us."
"Okay. Let's go ahead and get started."
We walk downstairs and grab our bags.
"Hey guys you want anything specific for dinner?" Alex asked.
"I'm okay with whatever. Colby and I are going to unpack," I said walking up the stairs.
"Okay." Colby and I went back into my room and I set my bags down. I started pulling my clothes out of my dresser and putting them in the closet.
"So, Logan, you happy to be home?"
"I guess. I'm just happy that you're with me. Like, I love Alex don't get me wrong, but when she's pissy you can't talk to her or get near her. I used to be that way before Mike."
"So who's Mike anyway?"
"Mike is uh...a therapist of sorts...." I said trying to be vague.
"What do you mean?"
"He used.......fighting to curb my explosive episodes."
"Oh okay." I sniffled. I hated lying to Colby and everyone else, but I can't tell them the truth.
"Yeah, it was...fun I guess. I mean, I don't like hurting people but it helped."
"Yeah."
"The dresser is empty for you," I said quietly.
"Thanks, Lo."
"You're welcome, Colbs. I'm sorry about last night."
"It's fine, Lo."
"No, it's not. I just... I get scared okay!? It's hard after everyone taking advantage of me. I'm sorry," I say hugging him. He hugged back.
"What do you mean after everyone taking advantage of you?" I froze.
"Guys don't really like me. They've only wanted sex from me, Colby. I know you're not like them at all, but it's hard to open up. You deserve the world and I will open up. I just- I'm sorry."
"Logan you don't need to apologize."
"I'm sorry. I have a problem with apologizing too much. I feel like I annoy everyone."
"Well I don't find it annoying. I think it's cute." I blushed.
"Stahhhppp."
"Nope."
"Colbbyyyyy."
"Logannnnn."
"You're an ass, but I love you."
"I love you too."
"I don't know about you, but I'm getting comfy clothes." I laughed and grabbed a silk nightgown. I walked into the bathroom and changed.
"Guys dinner is ready!" Alex yelled from downstairs. We both walked downstairs and into the kitchen.
"What's for dinner, chef Alex?" I asked laughing.
"Steak and mashed potatoes."
"Well done?" I asked. Brennen looked at me weird.
"For you, the rest of us eat steak the right way." Alex said fixing everyone's plates.
"Sorry, still pink still raw," I said putting my hands up in defense. I heard Colby laugh behind me.
"Alex, someone's here to see you," Dad said walking in the room with Marcel and Simone. Alex stopped what she was doing.
"Mama Marcel!" She ran over and hugged him and Simone.
"You really are something else," Brennen said. Alex rolled her eyes and continued to make everyone's plates.
"Why do you always fix everyone's plate?" Colby asked. Alex stopped for a second. She looked like she was going to cry.
"I just do..." She handed everyone their plate and sat down next to Marcel. Colby and I sat next to each other.
"Did I say something wrong?" he whispered.
"Just leave it. I'll tell you literally everything else. What happened with Mike, why I explode, anything. Just not that," I said quietly.
"Okay."
"That area is just a no no. You didn't do anything wrong. I've actually been waiting for Brennen to ask her that," I said laughing a little.
"Gotcha."
"So question."
"Answer."
"You wanna grab a drink later?"
"Sure."
"What time should we go?"
"Whenever." I nodded and got up.
"Dad, where's Brian?"
"Um upstairs. I think." I nodded and went upstairs. I knocked on Brian's door.
"Yes?" Brian asked answering the door.
"So, Colby and I wanna go out for some drinks, but-" Brian cut me off.
"Luke doesn't like you drinking and you need a ride to and from to make sure you don't get caught?"
"Please, Brian," I begged.
"Ugh fine." I hugged him.
"Thank youuuuuu. I'll do anything you ask for the rest of the week how about that?"
"Okay." We shook hands.
"We leave at 9," I said walking back downstairs. I sat next to Colby.
"So why'd you need to talk to Brian?"
"Let's go upstairs first," I whispered. He nodded and we put our plates in the sink.
"Rinse them off please," Alex said.
"When don't I?" I said sarcastically. I rinsed our plates and ran upstairs with Colby.
"So what'd you have to talk to Brian about?"
"Remember when we were at Mini's and I had a little vodka? Well, Del told me to put it down because my dad hates when I drink. I don't drink often, but whenever I do I get lectured. We are going out at 9 with Brian and a "friend" of his. Brian is our escort and lookout to and from tonight," I explained.
"Oh okay."
"Yeah. I'm gonna get ready."
"Alright."
