Delirious' pov
It's been about three weeks since Alex was told about everything. Thankfully, she understood why we kept it a secret and wasn't mad about it. "Del?" Luke asked.
"Yes?"
"I um, I want to take you out. Like on a date," Luke said nervously.
"Yeah. That sounds like fun." He wrapped his arms around my waist.
"It will be." I smiled. "I love you more than anything in the world," he said kissing me.
"I love you too."
"You're mine."
"I know."
"Mmmm, I don't know if you do," he growled. I felt a shiver go down my spine. "You're mine tonight."
"Okay."
"Should we go grab some lunch?"
"Yes." We walked into the kitchen and started looking in the fridge.
"What're you in the mood for?"
"Anything."
"That doesn't help."
"Sorry."
"I just need to know what you want so I can feed you."
"I don't know."
"Should I just order some Chinese?"
"Yeah." Luke went out front to order Chinese food. Alex walked in the kitchen. "Hey Unclelirious do you know where dad is?"
"He's outside ordering food. What's up?"
"Doctor called and said I have an appointment tomorrow at 3. I figured dad wanted to come."
"He should be inside in a second. I'm sure he'd love to come."
"Okay." Luke walked inside.
"Del, it'll be here soon. Good morning, angel."
"Morning. Dad, the doctor called and said I have an appointment tomorrow at 3. Do you want to come?"
"Of course I do," he said hugging her.
"Alright." She hugged him back.
"How's the morning sickness?"
"A little better than what it's been."
"Good."
"I still can't believe it."
"I can't either. But, you gotta make the best of it."
"I know." She smiled. Brennen walked downstairs.
"Hey, beautiful."
"Hey, B." He walked over to her and kissed her cheek. There was a knock on the door and Luke answered it. He came over to the counter with our food.
"So what are you guys doing today?"
"Well, for now, we're just hanging around. Tonight, I'm taking Del out," Luke said.
"That's cute."
"He's cuter," Luke mumbled. I blushed.
"Aww." There was a scream from upstairs and then Logan ran downstairs in a towel.
"CREEPY CRAWLY DEATH DEALER!"
Alex's eyes widened.
"NO! SOMEONE KILL IT!"
"Princess, it's gone," Colby said running down the stairs and tripping. "Fuck," he mumbled landing on his stomach. Alex started laughing. Logan was trying not to laugh as she helped him up.
"So you can kill spiders but can't walk on your own two feet?" I asked.
"Nope." I shrugged and Colby walked back upstairs with Logan.
"Hey, can I have one of the extra egg and spring rolls?" I nodded and gave her two.
"Thanks, Dad." Luke nodded.
"Wanna go upstairs, baby?"
"Yeah." Alex and Brennen went upstairs and Luke and I finished our food.
"That was good, Luke."
"It was," he said throwing away my containers for me.
"Now what do you want to do?" He smirked.
"You." I looked at him and blushed. He kissed my cheek and then walked into our room. I got up and walked into our room. "I'm going to get in the shower real quick, babe," he said kissing me.
"Can I join?" Luke's eyes widened. He pulled me to the bathroom with him and locked the door behind us. I laughed a little.
"What?"
"You just seemed excited." He looked down.
"That's one word for it."
"Did I do that?" He blushed. I smirked.
"This is why I don't wear sweatpants anywhere." I laughed a little. He walked to the shower and took his shirt off. "You coming?" I nodded as I took mine off. "Damn, Del," he whispered.
"Hmm?" He walked over to me and grabbed me by my waist, pulling me against him. I smiled.
"You drive me crazy, Jon. You know that?"
"Yeah." He kisses me roughly, pushing me against the wall. I kissed him back. He reaches down to my pants and then pulls away. I groaned.
"What is it, Jon?"
"Why'd you stop?"
"Did you not want me to?" he asked, palming me through my pants.
"N-no." He chuckled. He slid my pants off slowly and started kissing my neck.
"I love you, Luke."
"I love you too, Del." I smiled. "I need to shower, Jon."
"Okay." He kissed me one last time before stripping completely and stepping in the shower.
"You coming?" I nodded as I did the same and stepped in the shower with him. "You're so handsome."
"So are you." He shook his head no and then washed himself. I raised an eyebrow at him.
"What?"
"If you keep talking bad about yourself, I will physically fight you."
"I'd like to see you try," he teased.
"Keep on and I will."
"Don't think I won't make you mine right now," he growled.
"Don't talk bad about yourself then." He sighed.
"I'm sorry." I hugged him. We finished washing ourselves and stepped out of the shower.
"Luke?"
"Hmm?"
"Why do you have to talk bad about yourself?"
"I just feel like a failure," he mumbled putting his head down. I lifted his head up so he could look at me.
"You're not a failure, Luke." He hugged me.
"I love you so much." I hugged him back.
"I love you more."
"I love you most."
"I love you 3,000."
"I love you more than Alex loves Chinese food."
"Holy shit. That's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard."
"Well it's true, baby." I smiled and kissed him. He kissed back, grabbing my waist.
"So when are we going on that date?"
"After we get dressed," he said laughing.
"Good because I'm bored," I said jokingly. He pretended to be offended.
"You won't be later," he said winking.
I laughed a little.
"You wanna go tell the girls we'll be back later?"
"Yeah sure." After I told Alex and Logan we were leaving, I went back downstairs to find Luke at the door.
"Ready?" I nodded as we walked outside and got in the car.
"So where are we going?"
"Good Food on Montford. You ever been there?"
"No I haven't."
"Perfect." We pull in to the parking lot and get out. It was really fancy looking. We walked in and we were greeted by a waitress.
"Hello, sirs. Do you have a reservation?"
"Yes. Patterson," Luke said. She nodded and showed us to our table. We order our drinks and started looking at the menu. Our waitress came back a short while later.
"Are we ready to order?"
"Yes," Luke said. I decided to get the Garganelli and Luke ordered the Gnocchi. We waited for our food.
"So what you want to talk about?"
"I'm not sure."
"Well that helps," I said laughing a little.
"Jon, you know I love you right?"
"Yes." I started to get nervous. He sighed.
"I'm so scared I'm going to lose you, babe."
"Why?"
"I don't know. I just get scared that you'll find someone better. I don't want to lose you," he said, whispering the last sentence.
"Luke...that's not going to happen." He smiled and our food was brought out.
We started to eat.
"Jon, I love you more than anything in the world."
"I love you too." Luke's phone started to ring.
"I'll be right back, love. It's Alex," he said excusing himself.
"Is everything okay?" He nodded and stepped outside the restaurant. I waited a few minutes before he came and sat down.
"What was that about?"
"She wanted to know when we'd be back because she wanted to spend time with you and go get ice cream or something."
"Ah okay."
"Yeah. Is your food good?"
"Yeah." He nodded finishing his plate.
"If you had to pick one place in the world to go to, where would you go?"
"Um probably Scotland."
"Oohh nice. Scotland is so beautiful."
"Like you." He blushed.
"Jon, stoopp."
"Nah." The waitress walked over to us.
"Is there anything else we can get you today?" I shook my head and looked at Luke.
"Just the check," he said. She nodded and walked off. He sat there smiling at me, playing with his beard.
"So, what are we doing after this?"
"Well, I am taking you home. You need to go with Alex and get ice cream. I'll just be sitting at home editing."
"Okay."
"Now when you get back, that's a whole other thing." The waitress handed Luke the check and he paid for our dinner. We got up and got in the car. Luke drove home and opened my car door for me.
"Thank you, Luke."
"Anything for you." We walked into the house and Alex was waiting on the couch.
"Hey, Alex." She smiled and got up.
"Alex, I need to talk to you upstairs real quick," Luke said.
