Alex's pov
I woke up and it was about 8:30. I got up quietly so I wouldn't wake Brennen up and went to take a shower. I got out and got dressed in a pair of sweatpants I stole from my dad and one of Unclelirious' shirts that I also stole. "Have fun, beautiful," Brennen mumbled. "Call me if you need anything." I smiled.
"I will. Don't let the twins get into too much trouble." He got up and walked over to me.
"I won't, baby girl. I love you." He kissed my cheek and hugged me.
"I love you too. I also already ordered everyone breakfast. It will be here by nine so no one needs to worry about ordering food."
"Baby, I could've made breakfast. You do way too much for everyone, but it's one of the things I admire about you," he said brushing hair out of my face.
"I know. I can't help it."
"I know, baby." I headed downstairs and went to the kitchen to take my medicine. My dad and Unclelirious walked in.
"Good morning Dad, Mamalirious."
"What was that, Alex?" Dad asked.
"What was what?"
"Alex," Dad said sternly.
"What?"
"What did you say?"
"Nothing." He sighed and hugged Del.
"Wait, is that my shirt that I've been missing for almost a year now?" Del asked
"....no..."
"Alex, tell the truth," Dad said raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah."
"You, hoochie!"
"Aww, come on, Mamalirious, you can't be mad at me."
"Luke, she did it again!" I just laughed.
"Alex Cameron Phoenix Patterson!" I froze as everyone else came downstairs.
"Uh, Lo."
"Dad, what's going on?"
"We're going to talk about what the two of you have been saying."
"We havent been saying anything."
"Logan Talyn Aspen Patterson, don't play games with me right now!" Dad said deepening his voice. Luckily, the twins were still asleep.
"Stop yelling at us!" Logan yelled matching his tone. I started shaking and had tears in my eyes. He stepped towards Logan and put his finger in her face.
"Don't you dare yell at me again, Logan." Logan looked down at the floor. "I'm sorry for yelling. Just tell me what the fuck is going on." I didn't say anything as I wiped my eyes. He took a deep breath. "Angel, I'm sorry. Your sister brought up something last night and it's concerning me. I'm sorry that I'm so on edge. Please tell me what you guys have been saying? We're just curious." I sighed.
"Well I mean, once you guys get married it would be weird if we still called him Unclelirious. So we are calling him Mamalirious and Dadlirious."
"Oh. That's all?" He started laughing. "I love it."
"Well, it's almost 9 am. I ordered everyone breakfast so you don't have to worry about it. Lo and I need to head out to get breakfast." He nodded.
"I'll be right back down," Logan said heading upstairs.
"I'm so sorry, angel," Dad said hugging me. I hugged him back.
"It's okay, Dad."
"No it's not. I, especially, should know better."
"Logan gets it from you, doesn't she?" Colby asked.
"Get what?" Colby hesitated for a second.
"The..frequent apologies."
"Yeah." Logan walked downstairs.
"Dad, uh tomorrow. I have to start um working," she said raising an eyebrow towards him.
"What?" Dad asked.
"I talked to you last night. I start tomorrow."
"Oh yeah."
"I'm confused," I said.
"I'll tell you at breakfast. Let's go."
"Alright." We walked out to the car and got in.
"Can we go to Bojangles?"
"Absofuckinglutely!" Logan said driving towards Bojangles.
"Yay!" We got to Bojangles and sat at a booth.
"So what were you going to tell me?"
"I am being put back on my meds, but I don't want everyone knowing. Colby doesn't even know."
"Oh."
"I know you don't remember me on it. You were really little. I was also on it for a few weeks about two years ago. Then I was put in the hospital. Do you remember that?"
"No."
"I'm glad you don't."
"So what should we do today?" Logan thought for a moment.
"Yo, we need to plan Dad's wedding."
"Way ahead of you." I pull up a few plans on my notes.
"Good. Please tell me it's red and blue themed."
"Duh."
"Good."
"We can't let them know that we have been working on this."
"Oh absolutely not. I'm so excited."
"Same. I also sketched out a few ideas at home for some things too."
"You have to show me."
"I will when we get home."
"Okay, good," she said smiling.
"So now where to?" I asked as we finished breakfast.
"Well, I know you don't want people up your ass about drawing, but I wanted to take you to an arts and crafts store. Buy anything you want, I'm paying."
"You don't have to pay."
"I want to, Alex."
"Okay fine." She smiled and started driving to Hobby Lobby.
"Dude, we can compare flower colors here."
"Let's go," she said dragging me towards the flowers. We started comparing different blues, reds, golds, and purples.
"This is so much fun."
"It is oh my god," she gasped grabbing my shoulder. I smiled. "Only we can wear purple."
"Yes!"
"Del and Dad are the two who made us who we are so we are purple."
"Got that right."
"So, um, for the first few days on my meds I need to be left alone."
"Okay but why?"
"So, they help my anger and everything, but before they properly kick in, I am basically in a blackout kind of state all day every day."
"Oh wow."
"Yeah and I don't want you, especially you, around me when it happens."
"Okay."
"I won't be myself after they kick in, but it's worth it. You and Spencer deserve the absolute best." I hugged her.
"I love you, Lo."
"I love you too, Alex. You're the only thing that's kept me alive." I smiled slightly. "I'm not lying. I tried. Multiple times and I almost succeeded, but I ran to Dad and told him what I did. I couldn't leave you."
"....yeah."
"I know you feel like we don't notice you or that we ignore you, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. I am so lucky to have you in my life. You are the best sister I could have ever asked for and you're an amazing cook. You do so much for all of us and I am forever grateful. Thank you."
"I don't do that much."
"Oh please. Alex, you cook for all of us and, if you don't cook, you order food. You usually always do the dishes and clean up around the house. You do so much."
"I guess I do."
"I see it all and I know that Dad and Del appreciate it deeply."
"Hmm yeah."
"Question."
"Answer."
"What are we gonna do about streaming? Are we going to just angle the camera up or?"
"Yeah just have to have it so it's shoulders up." She nodded.
"I can't wait!"
"For what? There's a lot happening."
"Spencer!" she said excitedly.
"Haha me too."
"You nervous?"
"Of course I am. You know how hard it is for me not to stress over it? Yeah I'm excited, but I'm also pretty scared."
"Well I'll be here every step of the way. You know Dad and Del will be too. Everyone will help. It's going to be fine, Alex. I promise."
"Thanks, Lo."
"It's no problem."
"So when are we going to eat again? I'm hungry."
"We can eat after you get everything you need." She laughed a little.
"Okay." I started going through the aisles and got what I needed.
"Alright I'm done."
"Let's go pay and get the three of us some food."
"Yay!" She laughed as we walked to the register and paid for everything. We loaded the bags in the trunk and drove to Chick Fil A.
"Hopefully Nogla didn't destroy this one." She busted out laughing.
"Shit, A. I'm trying to drive here. But, you're not wrong."
"At least Mama Moo fixed it."
"Yeah. Brian wasn't the best judge. But don't tell him I said that," she said giggling. I started laughing. "Drive thru or sit and eat?"
"Either one."
"Let's go thru the drive thru. I feel fat."
"You're one to talk," I mumbled.
"Alex, really. You're not fat, you're just pregnant."
"You're just saying that." She pulled into the drive thru.
"Alex, seriously. I mean it."
"Uh huh."
"What do you want to eat?"
"Hmm a number 1 with extra fries." She nodded and ordered our food.
"God I'm starving."
"Me too." We got our food and parked down the road. She handed me my bag and we started eating.
"I'm tired."
"Do you wanna go back to the house so you can sleep?"
"Yeah. I'll show you everything when I wake up."
"You better," she said jokingly. We drove back to the house and Logan carried all the bags inside. I go lay on the couch and immediately fall asleep.
~~~~~~Time Skip~~~~~~
I woke up about two hours later and went to find Logan. She was playing the guitar I gave her and writing music. I knocked 3 times. "Logan?" I knocked 3 times again. "Logan?" Then I knocked 3 times one last time. "Logan?" I heard her laugh from inside.
"Yes, Sheldon?" I laughed a little too.
"Ready to look at those sketches?" Her door flew open.
"Yes!"
"Alright let's go." We walked into my room and sat on my bed. I pulled out my sketchbook and started to flip through the pages.
