( Heyo! Before this chapter starts, this is not a request... This is a scenario I just thought would be cute and I personally like requesting a lot for other authors! Hope y'all enjoy this for right now. I'll get to requests soon! This is my first fan-fiction btw, so sorry if it's kinda bad lol :3 ))

It was a bright, sunny, spring morning. Mao Mao and his closest friends, Badgerclops and Adorabat, went out to relax and have a picnic on a beautiful field in Pure Heart Valley. Badgerclops sat down and dug into the little wooden basket they brought, and pulled out a cherry pie. He licked his lips and quickly stuffed his face with the sweet, crunchy, and creamy, pastry!
Mao Mao sat next to Badgerclops looked over at him, as he watched him scarf down the pie.
"Mao Mao? Could I go over near the stream to skip some rocks while y'all stay here?" Adorabat asked as she hopped over to Mao Mao and smiled, with her yellow eyes sparkling in the morning sunlight.
"Uh- of course! Just don't wonder off too far though!"
"Yay! Thanks, Mao!" Adorabat squealed. Mao Mao patted her head and looked down at her, as she she flew off the other way.
The dark cat looked back at his badger friend, and realized he had finished his treat. Badgerclops licked the red, cherry jam off each of his fingers, with a smack coming from his lips with each finger.
"Welp, that was good! Do you not want any, dude?" Badgerclops questioned, glancing at Mao Mao.
"Nah! A hero like I, don't sit around eating pies! Just by your reaction though, I'm sure it was delicious," Mao Mao stated with a smirk, triumphantly posing with his cape while still sitting.
"Pft- whatever, loser," Badgerclops snickered at the small cat with his little pose.
"Aye, watch it!" Mao Mao scolded Badgerclops, pointing a finger at him in annoyance.
Badgerclops just rolled his eyes and ignored the small tantrum the black cat was throwing. Mao Mao stopped complaining and calmed down.
He turned around to see the beautiful view of Pure Heart. He looked to see the sun reflecting its light off of the huge shiny Ruby that protects the Valley. He took in the lovely sight of seeing the birds fly above the tall natural, green leaves. He felt a nice breeze blow through his fur and watched the leaves dance with the movement as well.
While Mao Mao was distracted with the peaceful scene, Badgerclops scooted over closer to the feline. He had a lovely flower crown in his hands. He leaned next to the cat a bit more, and gently placed the beautifully colored and made flower crown on his head.
Mao Mao's ears went back, as his head followed his ears' movement. He looked up at the bigger animal next to him with a scrunched look of aggravation on his face.
"Eh- Wh-What's going on? What's up with my head?" Mao Mao questioned Badgerclops in confusion, with his face still crunched.
"Hehe! I put a flower crown on you, man!" He replied with a chuckle and booped the cat's little, dark, nose.
Mao Mao's eyes grew a little wider from the action. He took the head piece off and looked at it between his gloved paws.
"C'mon, Lil' Mao! Put it back on! I worked hard on it, dude. Made it just for you!" Badgerclops proudly explained as he smiled in Mao Mao's direction.
"Ughh... Fine! Only because ya worked SO HARD on it!" Mao Mao placed the light pink and white headwear back on his fuzzy head.
"Awee, see! You look cute!" Badgerclops teased the smaller creature and nudged his arm with his elbow.
"Shut up, I'm not cute!" Mao Mao pouted as his face glowed a small bit of red.
"Suuuure, liar!" The badger continued to tease the kitty and held Mao Mao's little, covered, paw in his hand.
Mao Mao's green eyes darted up to Badgerclops's almond shaped eye. He looked back down at the cat and gave a little grin. Mao Mao gave a tiny, flustered, giggle and put his flower covered head on the taller boy's shoulder.
"I'm so thankful to spend my time with you. I love you, Mao Mao!" Badgerclops mentioned with relief on his voice, loving the feeling of Mao Mao's warm fur on his arm.
"I love you too Badgerclops," Mao Mao said calmly, watching the grass and leaves blow around with the breezes.
"Heheh, you really DO have a soft spot-" Badgerclops began to chuckle as Mao Mao sat up and cut him off,
"Aye, watch it, big guy!" Mao Mao stated. He then began laying his head back on the badger's shoulder.
The two animals then sat on the hill in the bright green field. They peacefully watched the gorgeous and serene area, as they happily cuddled together.
How could this day be more amazing?
