~Alane P.O.V~
As I finished unpacking the last box to my room, I changed to my middle school uniform. I grabbed the brush and quickly made sure I didn't have any knots in my pink hair.
"Alane honey!" My mom yelled from downstairs "you don't wanna go to school on an empty stomach!" I put my brush down and ran down the stairs where my father was reading the newspaper. "Good morning, mom, dad," I said, bowing towards them.
My dad smiled, "Morning Alane. Excited for your first day?" I swallowed the food in my mouth and thought for a second. "Ummm..yeah! I get to meet new people and all!"
My father finished his meal. "I'll start the car once you finish, ok? I don't want you walking the streets in a new place for a while, ok?" I only nodded and ate a bit faster.
~Later~
After saying my goodbye to my father, I walked into my new middle school. Everyone that was outside quickly noticed the new pink-haired, blue-eyed girl that had just entered. I started to blush and walked faster, holding my head down.
I walked in the school trying to find my class. I wasn't used to this new system of classes. After getting lost in less than ten minutes, I decided to ask someone for help.
"Um...excuse me?" I said, tapping on a green-haired boy shoulder. "Can you help me find this class?" He turned around and I couldn't help notice how big his eyes were. "Yeah, sure! Can I see your paper?" He said in a kind voice. I handed him my little sheet.
"Oh wow!" He said "your in the same class as me!" I blinked. "Wow. Really? That's so cool! Oh, uh, my name is Alane Yuki!" I said bowing. He chuckled and bowed back. "My name is Midoria Iziku! Come on, lets walk together to class." I nodded and walked beside him.
I quickly noticed I was a lot taller than him. "Hey Alane, if you don't mind me asking, what's your quirk?" I noticed he took out a notebook. "Um..why are you gonna write it down?" Midoria started ti blush. "Well, uh, you see, im a huge fanboy of quirks and all!"
I was still looking at him. "So I'm guessing you don't have a quirk then?" He only stayed quiet. I panicked a bit. "I-im sorry! I-I didn't mean to offend you!" I bowed to a perfect 90°. "H-hey! No, dont be sorry! It's fine! Oh m-man, if you keep that bow any longer, your gonna have back problems later on!"
~In class~
"Alright, class..... Shut the hell up!" The teacher yelled, I felt a sweat drop fall down my head, that was so loud that I heard it entirely even outside the hall. "We have a new student here today. I want you to treat her with respect and not to cause any problems with her." He then slides the door open, and I walked in.
"H-hello. My name is Yuki Alane. I hope we can get along and be friends." I said and gave them all a small bow. "Why the hell did we have to waste our time on someone so pathetic?" Said a boy with a deep voice. I looked up, and a see a fluffy, spiky-haired blonde ignoring me. "Katsuki! Show a bit of respect for your new classmate!"
He gave a 'tch' sound. "Thanks, but I'll pass. Just go take a seat pinkie and don't waste our time again." I felt my throat dry up. He said that while staring me with his red eyes. He made me feel uncomfortable. What's worse, my seat was right behind him.
I gulped and made my way to my seat. Luckily he didn't do anything when I walked past him. I sat down and took out a notebook and pen and started to take notes. A few seconds pass, and I see a note land on my desk.
I quietly opened it and read it. 'It's me! Midoria! I'm sitting right behind you, buddy! Kacchan won't bother you if you don't get in his way. Don't worry.' I gave a small sigh and felt a little better. I looked behind my back a bit and saw Midoria wave at me. I smiled and gave a short wave back. 'At least I made a friend at least' I thought.
~After class~
I was walking down the hall towards the stairs. I heard this school has a garden and I wanted to see it. After opening the door, I saw a small garden. I was too shy to go in, mostly because im not in the gardening club, so I just stayed outside the gate and watched the different kinds of flowers they had.
Lilies, roses, forget me not, tulips, daffodils, honeysuckle, and munch more. I don't have a favorite flower, as long as they have a white color, it's alright. I noticed some started to turn brown, I grabbed the watering hose and gently poured some in the pot.
"There you go, little fella." I let the water out for about one minute before turning it back off. I then hear the door's 'click' sound; I jumped away, not wanting to cause any trouble with the gardener. "Hey, Alane!" Midoria said while waving at me.
I sighed in relief and waved back. "H-hey Midoria. You scared me for a moment there." He only chuckled and rubbed the back of his head. "R-really? Sorry about that. Lunch is about to start soon, though. Wanna go get something?" As soon as he said 'lunch' my stomach growled. "Y-yeah. That be nice."
~After lunch~
Everyone had just finished their last class and headed either to their lockers or walked straight out. I waited by the entrance of the school for Midoria to walk me home. I texted my parents in advance, so I was ok. About four minutes passed, and he wasn't anywhere to be seen.
I peeked down the halls, and he wasn't anywhere to be seen. I remembered where his last class was at so I decided to go there myself. After reaching the third floor, I headed down the hall. I wasn't very far from his class until I heard a lot of screaming from one person.
"Give it back, Kacchan!" I heard Midoria yell. I slid the door open, and everyone inside quickly looked at my direction. I felt my cheeks get red, and I froze momentarily. "I-is everything ok?" I managed to say. Barely.
Katsuki rolled his eyes and threw Midoria to the side. "Get the hell out if you don't wanna get hurt, Pinkie." Midoria hit the wall pretty hard it made a small dent on the wall. "Midoria!" I yelled as I made my way towards him. As I was about halfway there, Katsuki grabs my arm from behind and pushes me against the wall.
"Ow!" I yelped automatically. Katsuki was so close to me; I could feel his breathing get denser and hotter. "Just let me get to Midoria! I don't want trouble with you!" I tried to get through to him, but it wouldn't work.
"Shut up, pinkie!" He yelled so loud that I flinched a bit. "You got in this mess by ignoring my warning! I don't care if you are new or not, but I hate repeating myself! Got that?!" I felt his grip on my arm get so tight my arm started to feel numb. "Answer me!!"
"Stop it, Kacchan! Can't you see you're hurting her?!" Midoria said as he grabbed Katsuki's shoulder. Katsuki's eyes dilated so much I thought his eyes went completely white. He then grabbed Midorias shirt with his other hand and pushed him to the ground again. "Stay out of this twerp!"
I don't know what got in me, but before I realized what I've done, I shot my leg up between Katsuki's legs and hit his most vital point. Katsuki froze in place and fell on his knees. "You....damn..." I grabbed Midoria's arm and ran outside before Katsuki could finish that sentence.
~20 minutes of running~
~Midoria P.O.V~We were in an alley with our hands on our knees, trying to catch our breath. "Are you....ok?..." I panted. Alane only nodded; she was just as tired as I was. "Not to be in your....business and all....but" she stated, then clearing her throat, "are you even friends with him?"
"Uhh...I like to think of him as a friend. He doesn't though." Alane just stayed silent for a few seconds. "Oh!" She said while making her fingers make a 'snap' sound. She opened her bag and rummaged through it. "Here it is! It's your notebook Katsuki took from you, isn't it?"
I nearly choked up. "W-when did you-?" She made me hold it, "it fell out his pocket when I kicked him. You're not too far from home now, right?" I shook my head. "No, im just two blocks away." She smiled and picked up her bookbag. "Well, I gotta go catch the bus. See ya tomorrow!" She said waiving while running.
"W-wait!" I said, but she was already far away. 'I never got to ask about her quirk' I thought while I walked home.
