~Two days later~
We didn't go to school the next day. So, we had a three-day weekend now. I saw my cuts and bruises were starting to close pretty fast. My mom would ask if I needed anything almost every hour. I saw on my bed table that my dad had left a note and some candy for me to eat as I felt rested.
The note pretty much said that he was sorry he couldn't be here right now, and he managed to buy me some of my favorite candy; they were limited edition, so it was a struggle to get to the cash register. I giggled when I finished reading the note, and I plopped one in my mouth.
The milky chocolate started to melt as soon as it lightly pressed on my tongue. I felt like I was in heaven as the sweet taste of orange began to kick in. I then hear my mom knock on my door. "Alane? I'm going to a meeting with your father and other heroes. I should be back before it's late at night. Do you want me to buy you anything?" I walked up to the door and opened it. "Nope! Just bringing dad back would be nice." She smiled and kissed the top of my head motherly.
"I left some food cooking on the stove. Let it boil for a few hours before serving yourself, ok?" I nodded and hugged her before she left. "Take care! Tell dad I said hi, and thanks for the candy for me!" She smiled and nodded before she finally left the place. I went down the stairs and looked inside the pot. I felt my mouth water as soon as I smelled the vegetable soup.

I arrived at the location we were told to. I showed security the ID card given to me by mail to let me in. After letting me in, I took the elevator and pressed on floor '16'. The door was about to close when suddenly a hand appeared between both doors.
"Good afternoon Misty!" All Might said as the doors slid open and he walked in. "Oh, afternoon to you, Toshinori," I said as I pressed the button to close the doors. He was pretty quiet when the elevator started to move; I found it odd since he's such a chatterbox with me.
"Something wrong?" I said, looking up at him. He only slammed his fist on the wall next to him slightly. "If I had been there, maybe Bakugo wouldn't have been captured." I stayed silent. So, this is what's been eating away at him? He then looked at me.
"So, how's Alane after what happened?" He said with his tone of voice changing. "She's been alright. She's still resting, though." I then stayed quiet too. Toshinori noticed it right away and gently nudged my shoulder. "Come on, spill it." It caused me to smile very slightly.
"It's just...she feels responsible about Bakugo as well. I'm pretty sure you already know what she did and what she tried to do by now." I said. He only nodded. "Yeah, I know. She put up a pretty good fight for someone who doesn't have a hero license." I nodded. "That's what I tell her, but her facial expression of guilt doesn't change. At this point, I just feel like she's forcing herself to smile again."
He then pats my back gently. "Well, the people who smile are always the strongest, don't you think?" I looked up at him. "Besides," he said with his voice now slightly booming, "she has some pretty good parents with her!" He now said while giving his iconic hero laugh. My smile started to spread. That laughter never fails to make me smile. I ended up giggling slightly as a result. Before we knew it, the elevator gave a 'ding' sound when it reached floor 16.
Once we entered the room, everyone there turned and looked at us. We bowed and walked to our seats. I was sitting between Endeavor and Ren. We waited a few more minutes as the last bunch of heroes walked in. I looked at Ren and saw he was as calm as ever; if I were him, I would be so shy to talk to this group of heroes alone.
He then stands up and looks at everyone. "Good afternoon. Thank you all for coming here on such short notice," he said, "as you might have heard, UA was attacked a few days ago by the league of villains not too long ago. As a result, one student ended up being captured." He took a short pause by the sudden mumble by many people.
