"Shut the hell up already, Pinkie!!" Bakugo yelled so aggressively that his hair poofed back to its original shape. His hands were giving off small explosions as a warning, but this is the first time I didn't care if he tried to burn me.
Once I finally composed myself, he walked past me and purposely bumped his shoulder to mine. I continued to walk down the street, slightly snickering as I kept remembering how he looked. Not a minute passed that I suddenly felt the ground start to tremble slightly. I thought it was a mini earthquake, so I didn't think much of it.
The glass window on the store next to me exploded, the shards were flying straight at me. Before I could make a wall to protect me, I felt someone grip my hair and yank me back with full force. "OW!!!" I yelled as my butt landed on the ground.
"Shut it pinkie! That's what you get for making fun of my damn hair!" Bakugo said as he let go. I glared at him as I rubbed the back of my head. Then a loud explosion could be heard and seen go off down the street we were both on. Then there was another. And another. Each one seemed to be making its way towards us.
I scrambled to my feet, grabbed Bakugo's wrist, and ran in the alley right next to us. "Get your damn hands off me-!" Bakugo yelled but was interrupted by the explosion going off next to us. The wind was so strong that we both flew a few inches and landed face down on the ground. I looked back at the entrance and saw that a massive fire was blocking the way to get back on the street.
"Tch. Great..." Bakugo said as he got on his feet. "Now, I'm stuck with you...again." I glared at him. I then got up and dusted myself off, I look around and notice only one way that continues down this alley. I guess we have no choice then.
Before I could say my idea, something large, muscular, and inhuman landed between us and the exit. We both froze and stared at the thing that just appeared out of nowhere. The more it stared at us, the more I felt my body tensing up.
Bakugo barely moved a finger, and it was already charging straight at us. We both jumped out of the way, just barely. I looked at the alley, and it was open again. I ran towards bakugo to help him up, but I felt a large hand pick me up by the waist and lift me high in the air.
The grip was only getting tighter. Soon enough, I started to feel my back spike in pain, and my oxygen was getting limited. My vision began to get blurry. But I refused to close my eyes. I created a spear and shoved it in one of its eyes as deep as I could. It gave an animalistic yell and threw me against the brick wall next to it so hard that I almost went through it.
As I fell to the ground, I could see Bakugo now begin to attack it up close. Wow. He waited again for me to be out of range. I noticed that my spear was a lighter shade of pink; it was almost transparent now. Only then I noticed that I had one eye closed. I then feel someone roughly pull me back on my feet.
"Move it, Pinkie!" Bakugo yelled as he ran, and he pulled me along. The ground shook as the creature chased us down the alley. Bakugo skidded to a stop, and my heartfelt like it had dropped.
