when thinking of my happiest thoughts
i don't know what exactly to say
perhaps i should write about the lots
of love i receive every single day
for me, however, receiving doesn't make
me the happiest; giving is the best part
of happiness like baking a birthday cake
for your friend or sending a candy cart
it's when i see the smiles
on my family and friends' faces
and this is all the whiles
they're trying to find their own happy oasis
helping them get to the place they want to be
is a happy little goal i've set in place
to see the people i care about happy with glee
and a happy little smile spread across their face
so earning my happiness is simple, indeed,
it may be hard at times to do
but that's why i'll always be here to feed
all my happiness to you

i would always find myself loving to make people happy and seeing people laugh because it makes me happy that i was able to make someone else happy. a few months ago, i realized that we never know when someone might go and you weren't able to tell them how much you mean to them. that's why i always want to make sure that everyone i know feel like they matter so very much.
