Today is the day of my initiation and Uriah's. I'm scared because I am divergent, and I am scared Uri is going to move to another faction. I tremble at the thought.
Zeke's friends from his initiation are awesome! Especially Tobias! We are dating and he told me everything about himself. About his dad and everything! I told him about my life to! Even though we have been dating for two years now, Zeke and Uri are still keeping a close eye on him.
My past boyfriends have always wanted my body. I was traumatized for at least three years after I turned thirteen. I stopped dating for years and now look where I am. Right in the hands of an amazing boy.
I know that I will pick dauntless. I am brave. But my divergence gets in the way.
On the train ride to the Choosing Ceremony I sit by Tobias in the back corner of the train. Tobias' arms are around me.
"You okay?" He asks.
"Yeah." I say.
"Tris, what were your faction in the aptitude test?" He asks.
"Dauntless..." I say.
"You can trust me." He says.
"And Erudite and Abnegation." I say. "I'm divergent, and they're going to kill me." I say with tears in my eyes.
"I'm not going to let the happen." He says.
