13. Close Friend

After reuniting two best friends, Jungkook walked back to his apartment. Taehyung left with Hoesok to drop him off.

Jungkook was very happy smiling like crazy all his way back to home. Jimin was the only one on his mind. His smile when he saw Hoesok on facetime was beautiful and so real. He was lost in thoughts when his phone beeps and he comes back to reality.

From: Jimin

"Thank you so very much Jungkook. You don't know how happy i am today. You made me smile so often from the day i met you. I know you're my friend but still i am so grateful to you. I just don't have enough words to show you how happy i am. Thank you kook."

Jungkook smiled too, while reading the message. He don't know why the atmosphere felt happy suddenly. He wanted to see Jimin smile once again. He wants to see it again and again.

To: Jimin

"I am happy that you are happy, Jimin. I wish i can see you smile more often. Its the most beautiful feature of your face. Your eye smile."

From: Jimin
Good night jungkook. Sleep well.

To: Jimin
Good night to you too Jimin.

They both were smiling. Both of their hearts were content. On one side Jimin experiences a warm feeling in his heart because of talking to his best friend after almost a year and of how nice and pure Jungkook was to him. On the other side, jungkook's thought wandered around, how beautiful Jimin looks when he is carefree and smiles.

They both were lost in their thoughts which was happy and content.

It was weekend so jungkook don't have classes. So, he decided to sleep before heading to his saturday work. And with thoughts of Jimin all over his mind, he dozed off to sleep.

* 4 hours later (3:10 pm) *

Jungkook woke up to a ringing phone near his ears. He picked up the call without looking for the caller id.

"Hello?"

"Whats up bro?? What's happening with life?"

Someone spoke on other side of the line. Jungkook smiled, opened his eyes and sat down.

"Yugyeom!!! Long time, no see. How are you?"

"All good. What about you though? Its been long since our last meet. Wanna hangout?"

"You don't even have to ask bitch. Just tell me the time and place and i am all yours."

"How about tomorrow. Its sunday anyways. You free?"

"Ofcourse yuggie."

"Okay then. I'll text you the details. See you, bro."

"Yeah bro."

And with this much conversation they hanged up.

Yugyeom and Jungkook were really close friends. Apart from Taehyung, Yugyeom is the one Jungkook is close with. Like real real close. They met when they were in their primary school and had known each other since their childhood. All their school life, JungKook Taehyung and Yugyeom had been like three lines of a triangle. But Yugyeom being the only heir, had to manage his father's business due to which they don't see each other more often now.

"I still have one hour since my work. I should take a bath." Jungkook talked to himself and walked in bathroom.

He got ready and left for his work with weird satisfaction of something about the day.

Namjoon was actually investigating about Sunset Bars and Co. It was still not clear who the real CEO was and somehow, it was suspicious after Jungkook's witnessed all the incident himself. Namjoon trust Jungkook like his own real brother.

In all the investigation, one thing that came up was that Sunset Bar and many of the stripping bars and whore houses where innocent lives were exploited are connected and now Namjoon wants to know all the truth about this case.

"Damn, why is this two pages missing from this case file. This was the only way to know who the CEO is." Namjoon groaned in frustration.

"I'll find the truth at any cost." He spoke before leaving his office and going somewhere.
