55. Flashbacks

Author POV

*Five days before/ basement*

"JIMIN!!!!" Jungkook screamed and tried to stand up but his wounds were too deep and the drug was making him feel dizzy.

Jungkook saw Jimin struggling, his legs shaking and breaths being choked. He wanted to run and save his world but his body was too weak to actually react to his wants. The world was going black in front of his eyes and he wasn't able to control it and eventually everything went blank with a loud sound of gunshot as his last memory before passing out.

The rope was broken by the bullet and Jimin fell on the ground with a loud thud. His body was aching from all the abuse. His hands and neck had red marks all around it with few drops of blood oozing out.

"Jimin! Go to Jungkook! I'll handle this!" Namjoon said loudly and Jimin looked around him to see Namjoon and police force filling the basement.

Jungkook?  His heartbeat dropped when he looked at Jungkook laying on the floor without any movement. He was bleeding and Jimin's eyes were blurry.

"JUNGKOOK!!!"He screamed his voice breaking and body giving up but still he stood up and ran towards Jungkook.

He immediately sat beside the unconscious boy and pulled him onto his lap caressing his hair and kissing him all over his face, saying sweet things lovingly in his shaky and sore voice.

"Jungkook. Wake up. See!! Namjoon hyung is here. Baby please!!! PLEASE!!! Open your eyes. Jungkook !!" He didn't react to any of Jimin's shouts and it was breaking Jimin like never before.

It was killing him like never before. He can handle anything. The kidnapping, the abuses, the rapes, the pain. Everything. But he cannot handle this!

He cannot handle Jungkook laying without any movement. He cannot handle his own life being unconscious in front of him.

"Jungkook please baby. Wake up. Look everything's gonna be fine now. Please wake up!! We can finally be together and enjoy the rain." He was trying. He just wanted all of this to end so, he can live with his friends and family. So he can be with Jungkook. But maybe their destiny isn't that easy. Maybe their Fate had written more tears for them.

"Officer!!! Don't move!! Don't come forward or i am gonna shoot him!!" Jimin heard Jung-seun's loud voice behind him and when he turned  around, he had gun pointed at Jungkook.

"Jung-seun No!!" Namjoon said carefully taking small steps towards him.

"I said stop! Or i am really gonna shoot him." He said once again his fingers on trigger and his eyes showing craziness.

"Namjoon Hyung, please! Jung-seun Please,No!! Please i am begging you. Don't do that!" Jimin was crying hugging Jungkook tightly shielding his body by his own.

"Shut up, you whore! And Move!" Jung-seun spat bitterly but Jimin tighten his hold on Jungkook's unconscious body even more. He just wanted to protect Jungkook at this point without even caring about himself.

"Jung-seun don't you dare do anything to both of them or else-" Namjoon was speaking but Jung-seun didn't let him complete.

"Or else what Officer, huh. You gonna shoot me? Comeon then, shoot me! Shoot me!!!" He shouted and pulled the trigger to shoot Jungkook.

"Jung-seun No!!!" Namjoon tried to stop but the gunshots was heard and everyone froze.

The blood was oozing out and the floor was all red. Namjoon's eyes were wet from tears and Jimin screamed.

Everyone was standing still when Jung-seun body fell on the floor, his eyes open and blood all around him. Taehyung was standing behind him with wide glossy eyes and gun which fell from his hands.

"Taehyung!" Namjoon mumbled slowly.

"Jimin!! Jungkook!!" He shouted and ran towards them sitting beside his unconscious friends.

Jimin was shot at his shoulder and his shirt was all red. He had also lost consciousness and Taehyung pulled him in his arms.

"Jimin! Are you Okay? Oh My God! Someone call the ambulance." Taehyung screamed for help and looked around.

"Namjoon hyung!!! Please call the ambulance. Jimin is bleeding!!" He shouted once again and Namjoon immediately called hospital.

After few minutes the siren was heard and both the boys were taken out to ambulance on stretcher. Taehyung was also about to run when Namjoon grabbed his hands to stop him.

"Hyung! Let me go! My friends need me! Jungkook and Jimin needs me! What are you doing? Let m---"

"Taehyung listen to me!!!" Namjoon shouted breaking Taehyung's shock and the boy immediately hugged Namjoon, crying loudly in his embrace.

"I killed him, Namjoon hyung. I killed him!" He was crying uncontrollably. His body was shaking and his breathing were uneven.

"Tae listen to me! You didn't killed him. Do you get that?" Namjoon tried to assure him but the boy wasn't having any of it his sobs still loud.

"I s..shot him an..nd now he is d..e..dead because of me. I killed Jungk..kook's brother. I killed Jung-seun Hyung." His eyes were red and his voice came out all broken.

"No Taehyung. You didn't killed him. You shot him to protect someone which is self defence. You are not a killer." Namjoon hugged him tightly and caressed his hair to make him feel stable.

Indeed this night was the the worst night for all of them. But maybe the next day will bring a ray of light that can make them smile.
