Joshua Hong - The New Resident

The next day, it was a moody and rainy morning.

I didn't felt like getting up, neither did Eun Seok.

Oh yes, Eun Seok and I are roommates as well.

"Sigh, I don't feel like getting up" Eun Seok says.

Yes, we're awake but lazy to get out of bed.

"Alright fellow SMA Residents! Time to wake up!!" Baek Hyun sunbae's voice was heard.

"Ughh" We groaned.

"Stop groaning and get up Residents!" Baek Hyun sunbae says.

"Let's just to what he says" I said and finally (and reluctantly) got to the bathroom.

After me and Eun Seok did our morning routines, we headed out to the cafe for breakfast.

"Huh, I guess no one is willing to get up on a rainy day" Eun Seok commented.

I mean, the cafe is literally quite empty.

Mmm, probably only less than 20 students currently.

"Kaja, I'm hungry" I said and pulled Eun Seok to the que.

After we got our food, we headed to our seats and began eating.

"Morning girls!" We turn to see Seung Cheol, Jeong Han and Joshua.

"Morning boys" We greeted back and they take their seats.

Joshua was to my left while Seung Cheol, Jeong Han and Eun Seok are opposite us.

"How was your sleep Jeong Han and Joshua?" I ask.

"Oh it's alright, although my roommate snores" says Jeong Han.

"Who's your roommate?" Eun Seok ask.

"Uhh, I think his name is Han Sang Hyuk?" Jeong Han says.

"Oh, the pet talker!" Eun Seok exclaims.

"Eun Seok, it's rude to call him that!" I said.

"Pet talker?" Joshua ask.

"Well, Sang Hyuk claims that he talks to animals" says Seung Cheol.

"And he wants to open up his own Vet, he wants to be a Veterinarian" I said.

"Can he really talk to animals?" Jeong Han questions and we shrug.

"Who knows"

"What about you Joshua? Who's your roommate?" Eun Seok ask.

"Oh, his name is Hwang Min Hyun, he's really nice" says Joshua.

"Oooo, Min Hyun is known as the Nice Doctor here at SMA" says Eun Seok.

"Eo, Min Hyun mentioned that he wants to be an Internal Medicine Physician" says Seung Cheol.

"How do you know?" Jeong Han ask.

"Well, every year for first year residents, teachers would ask them to reveal what field they want to specialize in" I said.

"Resident?"

"Yeah, that's what they call us here. We're students training to become doctors so our Principal calls us Residents" Eun Seok explains.

"This is really an interesting school" Joshua commented.

"SMA is one of South Korea's private and prestigious medical school" says Seung Cheol.

"And it's simply not easy to enrol here" I stated.

"I'm glad we're here and met such great friends" Jeong Han says.

"You got that right" I said with a smile and we chuckled.

It's afternoon and it's still raining.

Geez, it's not even the monsoon season.

It's April come on!

And speaking of April, Eun Seok's birthday is coming up.

I should buy her something and maybe host a party for her.

Luckily, I don't have any afternoon classes and usually when class ends, you are free to go wherever you want.

Just have to be back at the dorm by the curfew time which is 9:30pm.

If you're late, usually you'd be force to stay somewhere else for the night.

Although with Baek Hyun sunbae is an exception sometimes.

Baek Hyun sunbae is not the only Dorm Prez.

We have a total of 4 Dorm Prez, 2 girls and 2 boys.

Baek Hyun sunbae is the Dorm Prez for boys while Yoo Ki Hyun sunbae is the Vice Dorm Prez.

For the girls, the Prez is Kim Min Ji sunbae, or she prefers to be called Jiu sunbae and the Vice is Lee Su Jung sunbae.

The nicer ones are usually Baek Hyun sunbae and Su Jung sunbae.

Jiu sunbae and Ki Hyun sunbae may not have a chance of letting latecomers into the dorms.

"Ro Eun" I turn around to see Joshua.

"Hey Joshua" I said.

"Uhh, you've got any plans? Since we don't have anymore classes" Joshua ask.

"If you're bored and have nothing to do, accompany me for shopping" I offered.

"Shopping?" I nodded.

"Eun Seok's birthday is coming" I said.

"Okay then, let's go!" Says Joshua and I chuckled.
