Joshua Hong - The New Resident

:: Five ::

"Have you... Calm down yet?" Joshua ask.

After dragging Joshua out of the mall, he brought me to the park where is quiet.

"Eo, thanks for letting me have some... Quietness" I said.

"May I ask... Who's that guy?" He ask carefully.

"My ex-boyfriend, Kim Won Sik, or prefers to be called Ravi" I said.

"Oh... Did he, do something really bad?" Joshua ask.

"Sigh, he cheated on me, not once, not twice but five times" I said bitterly.

"Mianhae, I shouldn't have ask" Joshua says softly.

"Gwaenchana. Seung Cheol and Eun Seok knows about him" I said.

"How did... You and Ravi met?" Joshua ask.

"It was when I was in my last year of Middle School. I was from Myeongjin Middle School while Ravi was from Wonjae Middle School.

Every year, our school has a type of collaboration with another Middle School for those graduating soon.

For my batch, we got teamed with Ravi's school and that's where I met him.

It sort of sparked but then, everything went downhill when I found out he cheated on me.

I was too forgiving at that time and I ignored Seung Cheol's advice on breaking up with him.

I just, loved him too much at that point of time that, I can't break up with him.

Until when I found out he ditch me for another girl and it was the fifth time.

I couldn't take it anymore so I called it off and I moved out of Anyang, to Seoul.

Of course, Seung Cheol followed since he told my parents that he'll take care of me" I said.

"Huh... I guess, we're sort of similar. We both had an ex in our life" Joshua says and I turn to him.

"You too?" I ask.

"Her name was Alethea Pandora. She was a wonderful girlfriend.

I met her in my first year of high school back in LA.

Though it lasted really short, 3 months to be exact.

She got into an accident on her way to our date, a fatal one.

It cost her life..." Joshua says while holding his tears.

"I'm sorry for your loss" I say softly.

I then scoot closer to Joshua and I gave him a hug.

"I'm pretty sure we both need a comforting hug right now" I say softly.

And then we stayed like that for quite a while before he send me back home.

You know what Readers, I think... I am falling for Joshua.

But... Is it too fast? I've only known him for a few days...

3 weeks past by and I'm really excited today because my sister is coming back from America.

"Alright then, that would be all for today, enjoy your weekends" says our lecturer and he dismissed us.

"Ro Eun ah! Got any plans for the weekend?" Joshua ask.

"Mhm, plans with my sister so I won't be staying at the dorms for the weekend" I said.

"Oh, you're going to Anyang?" Joshua ask.

"Mhm, I just need my luggage. I've already packed my things" I said.

"Then at least, let me be the one to see you off" he says and I giggled.

"Suit yourself" I said and we walked back to the dorm.

"Ooo have fun with your date with your sister! Don't miss me too much" says Eun Seok and I giggled.

"Don't worry, I won't" I said and she faked gasp.

"Eun Seok ah, try not to drag the boys into clubbing arasseo?" I instructed and she pout.

"No guarantees though" She says and I smiled.

"Got to go" I said.

"Want me to accompany you?" She ask.

"Aniyo, Joshua say he'll see me off" I said and Eun Seok suddenly gave me a mischievous grin.

"W-What?"

"You know what? Spend the weekends to sort out your feelings" says Eun Seok and I gave a confuse look.

Eun Seok simply smiles and pushes me to the door.

"See you on Monday!" Says Eun Seok.

"Eo, see ya!" I said and left the dorm.

I then see Joshua who is waiting for me.

"Kaja, which way is it?" Joshua questions and I chuckled.

"Let's go" I said.

After about an hour, Joshua and I reach the bus station.

I purchased my tickets and headed out.

"Well, this is where we part" I said.

"Hey, you'll be back right?" He ask.

"Of course silly, I still have studies you know, it's only for the weekends" I said.

"Ro Eun ah"

"Yeah?"

A moment of silence engulf us once again, felt like deja vu.

"Johahaeyo" He says and my smile was replace with shock.

"I'll wait for your answer, no matter what your answer is" He says firmly.

"E-Eo... I-I got to go, bye" I stuttered while getting onto the bus.

As the bus leaves for Gyeonggi Province, me and Joshua made eye contact and I suddenly blush.

But I was smiling widely while waving goodbye to Joshua.
