Clarke and I continued searching for whatever it was we needed to look for, she walked off in one direction and I stayed put looking around. I pursed my lips before turning to the blonde raising an eyebrow.
"What the hell are we even looking for?"
"Something." Clarke says making me roll my eyes as I sat down on a rock finishing off the berries I had in my pocket.
"Well I'm tired and hungry." I said throwing all the berries into my mouth and Clarke snickers with her back to me.
"Sapphire, look." Clarke says as she stops in her tracks, I get up from where I was sitting and walking over to her looking to the ground seeing a handle. I kneeled down pulling aside the grass and straw seeing it was a door.
"It's a door."
"Bellamy, over here." She calls out to him and soon enough he was coming over, I went to pull on it but the door didn't budge.
"I think it's rusted shut." I said to the both of them as I tried yanking at the door and Clarke helps but it doesn't work.
"Here. Watch out." Bellamy says making Clarke and I step back as he pulls out his axe to start hitting the door. He keeps going before stopping letting both Clarke and I to bend down pulling at the handles and this time it worked.
"Open sesame." I muttered to myself as we opened the doors, looking inside everything was pitched black but we walked down anyway Clarke handing me a flashlight to turn on.
"Really think this place hasn't been touched by the war?"
"A girl can dream." Clarke says continued down the stairs with us trailing behind her. We kept walking and it kept getting darker the more we kept walking, we got to the bottom finding a skeleton laying there.
"Hell of a place to die." Bellamy says as he walks past it, I pulled a face as I looked at the skeleton kneeling in front of it.
"So much for living down here, this place is disgusting."
"I don't think he had much of a choice." I said looking up at the blonde turning the flashlight on her, she walks off and I get up from my spot looking around shining my flashlight through the darkness before landing on Bellamy almost giving myself a heart attack.
"Sorry, didn't mean to frighten you."
"I wasn't scared."
"The look on your face said otherwise slick." Bellamy says pulling a smug look on his face and I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever Blake, didn't think we were on talking terms."
"Coming from the girl who always has something to say."
"No, this coming from the man who decided beating and locking up a grounder in our dropship was a good idea." I shot back at him and he pursed his lip nodding his head as he shrugs his shoulder.
"Fair point." Bellamy says agreeing with me making me raise an eyebrow at him, "Sapphire-,"
"Whatever you have to say I don't want to hear it, seriously."
"Fine. What did you want with the grounder?"
"I told you."
"You told me a lie."
"And what would you gain from me telling you, huh? It's not like you're going to change anything because you can't."
"Everything I'm doing is to keep us safe Sapphire, what don't you get?" He says scoffing making me turn to him narrowing my eyes at him.
"Keeping us safe? You dragged his ass all the way back to the dropship. Did it ever go through your mind that his buddies might come out looking for him? And if they find him with us?"
